Dapoli College is affiliated with Mumbai University and is currently running 7 UG courses, 5 PG courses and 5 courses under research domain. All the courses are provided in the areas of Science & Commerce fields. DUBSSC grants admission on the basis of secured merit in the past qualifying examination. The admission process is strictly based on the basis of merit. No entrance exam is conducted nor any entrance exam score is accepted by the college. 
Coming to the financial assistance the college facilitates scholarship for the needy & academically sound students. Along with scholarship the college has a placement cell for assistance of the students in placing them in top industries. The placement team invites several renowned companies for recruitment drives. Final year students are asked to participate in the placement drives. The cell guides the students to choose the right career.

DUBSSC Application Process

To apply for DUBSSC, a student must register at the University of Mumbai first. There are few steps which a student must follow to get done the admission process: 

  • Students must register themselves by visiting the MU official website
  • The form should be filled up and the desired program must be selected
  • Attach & upload the requisite documents. 
  • Submit the application form. 
  • Take a print out of the duly application form for the future reference. 

Once the students are shortlisted, the university demands the candidate to deposit the admission fees.   Required Documents:

DUBSSC Facilities

  • Central Library: DUBSSC has a library with a huge stock of books. It is a computerised, wifi enabled library. The library includes about a total number of 9840 books, 191 audio-video material and 13 Periodicals/Journals. The library has subscriptions of 9 newspaper, 11 Research Journals. Via N-List Program there are 31,35,000 e-books excerpts.  
  • Seminar Hall: The College has an art seminar hall with a seating capacity of 160. It is equipped with the best acoustics, LCD projectors etc. to make the multimedia communication effective and meaningful.
  • Hostel: DUBSSC provides accommodation facility for the girls only. The rooms are well furnished, spacious and equipped with all the required equipment. It has an indoor games facility. The accommodation facility comes with well-maintained dining rooms with independent kitchens and hygienic cooking facilities and safe drinking water. 
  • Laboratory: The college has well ventilated laboratories for practicals. The laboratories are equipped with modern instruments to cater. There are different laboratories for post-graduate student sections. The post graduate department has highly sophisticated instruments, some of which are imported for particular research work.
  • Gymkhana: The College has a huge playground on campus which has all the required equipment for the outdoor games like Volleyball, badminton, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi etc.  Facilities for almost all indoor games are provided on the college campus. The well-equipped multi gym provides students the opportunity to boost their stamina to be better able to cope with the rigors of college life.

DUBSSC Scholarship

The college facilitates scholarships for the meritorious and financially needy students from Government and different authorities. To avail these scholarships students need to fill up the required application form. As the freeships or scholarships are provided by the Govt the college will be not responsible for any inconvenience such as if the students do not submit the application form within the prescribed date or the application is rejected by the Govt. If any of these happen then these students need to pay the full academic fees.

Students who have been admitted from other than Maharashtra State are eligible to receive fees concession from their respective State Governments. Scholarship is not applicable for the OBC students for self financing courses. 

DUBSSC Placement

DUBSSC has its own placement team which works for the betterment of the aspirants. The cell organises recruitment drives and invites top notch companies to recruit the enthusiastic students. Final year students only can take part in the placement drives and they are also asked to be ready with their academic records along with their experience details. Either through direct interactions with the authorities the interview is done or the team is called for the personal interview in the college campus. The purpose of the placement cell is to make the students industry ready by giving them an adequate amount of knowledge, skills and aptitude.

The cell acts as a link between the students and employment community. To make the students ready for placement the cell arranges several talk shows, workshops, seminars and training.

Ans: Yes, after taking admission to DUBSSC, students can switch to other colleges. The refund of fees as applicable shall be made on or before 30thday after the date of cancellation and thereafter.
