Course: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
Eligibility:
- All admissions are being made based on the NEET eligibility and counseling by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS)/ Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the admission policy is formulated based on the guidelines as given by MCI/ NMC, DGHS and MCC.
- The admissions for first-year M.B.B.S. Program is done as per the eligibility guidelines notified by the MCI/ NMC.
- The candidates must obtain a valid score in the NEET examination and her name should appear in an All India Merit List of the qualified candidates prepared on the basis of All India Rank at NEET (UG) by NTA.
Note(s):
- The candidates shall be admitted to M.B.B.S. Program from the said list only.
- The candidates will have to participate in the Admission Counselling Process conducted by DGHS-MCC as per the guidelines of the Supreme Court/ Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India/ MCI/ NMC as notified from time to time.

Symbiosis Medical College for Women Admission
Step 1: Admission and Selection
The candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).
Step 2: Seat Distribution
100% seats i.e. 150 seats will be filled by admission counseling conducted by DGHS/ MCC at SMCW, 85% seats by General Category Students and the rest 15% seats by NRI Category Students.

SMCW is the first Medical College in the country that offers free medical education to five top-ranked girl students. The institute provides Dr. Anandi Gopal Scholarship for top ranking girl students at NEET:
Dr. Anandi Gopal Scholarship will be awarded to 5 girl students who top the NEET exam merit list and are allotted and admitted to Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Program at Symbiosis Medical College for Women each year. Ans. SUHRC is a 900 bedded teaching hospital attached to SMCW. Besides, Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, SUHRC also has other departments viz. Pediatrics with Neonatology (including a NICU), Orthopaedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Nephrology with dialysis beds, Pulmonology (chest medicine), Critical Care Medicine, a full-fledged Pathology lab and a Blood bank. There is also a Cardiology Dept. (with a Cath lab). There are 65 ICU beds. SUHRC has 18 Operation Theatres, which cater to all the surgical disciplines. All theatres are 'modular' with 2-way data transfer facilities. The hospital currently draws an Out-Patient load of close to around 800-1000 patients per day and around 250-270 admissions daily. The SUHRC provides top-quality clinical services, which are protocol-driven and evidence-based. ETHICS with the transparency of operations is accorded topmost priority.
