The college provides all the requirements to the candidates on the campus. Apart from the basic classroom and basic facilities, other facilities provided by the college are as follows:-

  • Guest House/ Hostels - the institute arranged Hostels for the students and guest houses for the scholars and the researchers. There are a total of 42 rooms in the hostel for the candidates. The guest houses are charged separately from the officials and the rates of the rooms differ as per the duty and the ranks of the officers. And generally, the guest houses are allowed to use for 5 days only at once.
  • Library- the Library of this institute is designed in a way so that it can cater all with all the necessary information. The library is well equipped with computers, 5700 books which include encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks, manuals, etc., over 3200 Bound journals, almost 600 Indian and Foreign standards, more than 450 reports and so on. The library also possesses Indian and foreign journals. The old and rare editions of books related to forestry are also in the collection.
  • Conference hall- the conference hall of the institute is well-equipped with all the required machines such as air-condition, microphone, audio-visual screens, speakers, etc. The conference hall is used for the meetings, displaying important notices for the students and also necessary seminars.
  • Laboratory- the institute believes that only theoretical knowledge is not enough for the students whether in terms of academics or training. The candidates are required to enrich themselves with the practical knowledge of every subject. Therefore, the college equipped their laboratory in such a way so that the students can get access to wood machine processing, timber seasoning, nursery raising, and clonal propagation. The laboratories of the institute are designed in such a manner to cater to the candidates with all the practical experience.
  • Apart from the above, the institute also provides the facility of Community Hall where the students can relax and discuss important matters, IT Centers where the candidates can browse for information and complete their project works. The classrooms of this institute are wide and well-maintained and well-equipped.

Ans. Yes, the college is having a reservation quota for the SC/ST students as per the rules of the Government. The candidates can apply for the seats only if they have valid documents of their caste. The eligibility for the reserved category candidates is min 40% in aggregate instead of 45% in their 10+2 exam.
