Modern Dental College & Research Centre was established in 2002 near Indore Airport, Indore (M.P.). The institute is approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi. It is affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishvavidhyalaya, Indore.

Modern Dental College offers a BDS program and an MDS program with specializations in Prosthodontics, Conservative Dentistry, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Pedodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine. It also offers two UG level Diploma courses in Dental Hygiene and Dental Mechanics.

  • Candidates for BDS & MDS programs must apply through MP PEB counselling after qualifying NEET UG and NEET MDS respectively.
  • Candidates who have cleared the State Government's Pre-Medical Test are also eligible for the counselling.
  • For BDS, candidate must pass 10+2 or equivalent in the science stream with Biology, Physics and Chemistry or B.Sc.  with at least 50% marks.
  • Selection of the candidates in BDS program is based on NEET UG entrance examination.
  • MDS candidates must not be over 45 years of age (relaxed for scheduled caste/ tribe candidates by three years).
  • The eligibility criteria for SC/ ST students for BDS and MDS admissions is relaxed by 10 percent.
  • Selection of candidates will be based on merit in the entrance examination.
  • For MDS, candidate must pass BDS with one year of rotatory internship latest by March 31 of the year of admission.
  • Candidate must be a bonafide citizen of India and must complete at least 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.
  • For Diploma course, candidate must pass 10+2 examination with PCB subjects.
  • Admission to Diploma program is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.  
  • Selection in MDS program is done on the basis of NEET MDS entrance examination.

Modern Dental College BDS and Diploma Admission 2020

Modern Dental College & Research Centre offers a (4+1)-year BDS program along with Diploma programs in Dental Hygiene and Dental Mechanics at the undergraduate level.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these courses is a pass in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subjects. The candidates are also required to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English put together. For Diploma, candidate must pass in 10+2 with Physics, Biology and Chemistry as subjects.

Selection of candidates for the BDS program is done on the basis of NEET UG score followed by MP-PEB counselling. While Diploma candidates are selected based on the last qualifying examination score.

Modern Dental College & Research Centre offers three-year of Master in Dental Surgery (MDS) degree program with specializations in Prosthodontics, Conservative Dentistry, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Pedodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine.

Modern Dental College Application Process 2020

Modern Dental College & Research Centre admits students for BDS and MDS programs through counselling conducted by NEET.
