Its the best you can get from any college in Kolkata, and they also have the best faculty.
The project and outcome were a food concert that was done by a team of 4, and everybody contributed well. It was done in a very good and entertaining way to achieve success in the food concert.
We get all the opportunities to grab the best job through campus interviews. All the students get a job, but not necessarily the best one because it depends on your capabilities. It also depends on how capable you are for that job and if you can handle it perfectly.
I did not avail any loan facility, but I have heard that my friend has availed that offer and more scholarship offers. One of my friends from the 2016-2019 batch was good in class 12, and he received a 50k scholarship.
The college is one of the campuses in the Saltlake area, considered to be one of the best in terms of infrastructure and facilities. The outer lawn area is beautifully decorated with horticulture.
The institute has its own hostel, so students will not have a problem while shifting from another place.
I chose IIHM as my college because my plan was to study Hotel Management, and IIHM is the best choice for hotel management students. It has a very good ranking compared to other colleges and a strong track record in terms of placements.

Dislike

The college is just horrible with a horrible set of faculties. It just has a fake image that its a good college, but reality is very harsh. Leaving one or two teachers, all other teachers are just too bad; they dont know anything about the subject

My international internship experience

Placement Experience:

Hotel Management is not just another professional program, it offers a unique lifestyle. Apart from learning skills relevant to the industry, the students develop a pleasing personality and manners fit to impress the queen.

Remarks:

The eligibility of the course is that you have to be at least 12th pass. Equal representation from the different sections of society. Equal opportunities are given to deserving candidates. You have to understand the concept of a reservation system.

Excellent experience at my internship in France

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students become eligible for campus placement. All the big Brands in the Hospitality industry like Take Hyatt Leela etc. Come to our college for campus placement. After getting a degree I will gonna rejoin Hotel Le Rosenmeer in the Alsace region of France in this Hotel I committed to my internships they Gave me Per job offer letter.

Remarks:

Eligibility is 12th pass You can find the application form and other details on Google. It has been an easy process. There is also an interview conducted by the faculty of the institute and they have been extremely helpful.

My own experience regarding the college

Placement Experience:

They become eligible for the campus in their final year from the start of the 5th sem only. Mostly every property visit our college. Most of the students are getting placed. I have plans to join the industry.

Eligibility of the course - 60% in 12 boards. You can find the application form on the echat website they have their website where you can apply there or you call them for queries related to info about admission.

My internship experience

Placement Experience:

When we complete 4th semester we are eligible for the placement program. 30-40company and many offers were made vas it was the time of covid19-20 the placement were held online. Hyatt, Oberoi, ITC etc were some top companies. Highest package was around 8-9lacs. Average was around 4-5lacs. 50 percentage was placed. I don't know exact percentage. Planning for masters .

Remarks:

Anyone who has scored more than 50% in their 12th standard is eligible for the exam. We have opt for a test and scored 60% marks to get short listed . After that there is a GD round followed by PI. The application details are available on the IIHM.ac.in website. I haven't seen any kind of reservations benefits. The admission process is very smooth
