What students say about Acharya Prafulla Chandra College - [APCC]

Likes

  • As I study physics honors in this college, I have come to know that the apparatus for practical and laboratory systems is very good.
  • Many fishery-related companies, such as CIFRI and CMFRI, take freshers from this course as interns, and they may receive a stipend (depending on the company).
  • Students are welcome to take summer internships, although it is not mandatory for credits in the course, all students are encouraged to take internships.
  • This college helps the students through a scheme called the Students Benevolent Fund every year, which is also a great facility.
  • Our college campus is very good, and we have a computer room, a laboratory room, and hostel facilities.
  • I know that the girls hostel is secure in terms of security, and the boys hostel is good in terms of food.
  • There is good infrastructure, good faculty, a great educative atmosphere, etc., and of course, there are some fields they have to look after.

Dislike

  • The job profiles are too poor, like TCS only hiring for telecallers and other low-grade companies hiring sales executives. They offer a low level salary which is not suitable for students.
  • There were no opportunities for scholarships for me, but there are state government scholarships based on family income, and campus jobs are not provided at our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are 39 students in our class and the faculty members are 7. So the student's teachers ratio is very friendly. All of them are very friendly and cooperative. There is no doubt about their knowledge, all of them are Ph.D. in the respective subject and some of them are post-doctoral from foreign universities. Every year they publish their research papers which became also available to us and other students. There is an exam in the semester based and it is not so difficult to pass them.

Remarks:

You have to pass a higher secondary exam from any board with a minimum of 66% marks having a PCMB combination. And this application form is available online mode. There is no difficulty to fill out this form to get admission to APCC.
