Amity Law School, Delhi is a law school in Noida which was set up in the year 2004. The institution was opened up under the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) in order to disseminate world class knowledge of legal studies in India. Amity Law College is recognized and authorized by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The School has been granted affiliation by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

It is a private institution offering undergraduate, post graduate, doctorate level courses in legal studies. At undergraduate level, the college offers courses like BBA LLB, BCom LLB, BA LLB (Hons.) and three year LLB. Under the postgraduate level, the college offers LLM (specializations). At the Doctorate level, the college offers PhD. 

There are also three authorized research centres in law, which are:-

Admission mode followed by the college is both online and offline while the final admission of the candidate is decided by a written test, English Language test followed by Personal Interviews. The college also accepts and considers CLAT scores of the candidates for admission.

Due to the current outbreak of Covid-19, the admission mode has been completely switched to online for all the courses.

Amity Law College Admissions

  • The mode of admission currently for all the courses has been switched to online only. For the candidates to seek admission in the college have to meet the specific eligibility and pass the Online Personal Interview conducted by the University via a Video Call.

Amity Law College Facilities

Spacious Classrooms: The Amity Law College Delhi has very spacious, enhanced and air-conditioned classrooms with all the resources and aids for properly conducting the classes for the students like microphones, overhead projectors and white boards. For special discussions and presentations, every classroom also has the facility of LCD projector for constructive and efficacious interactions with the students.

Accommodation: The University also has separate hostels for boys and girls for accommodation of atleast 15,000 students inside the University Campus only. Residential apartment suites, fully air conditioned are also available with 4 single rooms with attached washrooms, sofa, TV and refrigerators. Non-AC rooms are also available for accommodation. The hostels also have the facility of mess for the students.

Resource/Learning Centre/Library: The hub of any institution is its Library or the Resource Centre as some might call it. The Library of the college possesses the capacity to house all the essential resources and reference materials for the students’ requirements. The Library is regularly furnished and updated with the best study materials for the students.

Computer Lab: Education and computing goes hand-in-hand which is why Amity Law College also provides Computer Labs for students to fulfil their computing needs. The lab is fully air conditioned with more than 50 computers for the students and staff’s usage.

Wi-Fi connectivity: The entire college is enabled and well connected with Wi-fi for the students to have internet at their disposal for their learning needs.

Moot Court Hall: There is a separate Moot Court Hall present in the college for carrying out moot court competitions and activities for the students. All the internal competitions of moot court are held in that hall. The annual Amity National Moot Court Competitions are also held in the moot court hall in the college.

Eateries: The campus is well furnished with cafeterias and food courts for the students to relieve their stress and hunger pangs after the hectic day in the classrooms. The University has cafe outlets of Subway, Café Coffee Day, Dominos, Dosa Plaza, etc. among a few others.

Daily Usage Facilities: For fulfilling the daily needs of the students, the campus has departmental stores, bookshops, stationery shops and laundry services for the students.

Ques. What are the Interview videos?

Ans. The process of admission begins in January for PG courses and in March for UG courses.

Ques. What documents are required for admission in Amity Law College?

Ans. Copies of class 10/12th mark sheets are required to be attached with the application form. The proof of your fulfilling the eligibility criteria for admission in the college is to be attached and shown for verification.

Ques. What are the basic criteria for admission to UG Law Courses?

Ans. The aspiring applicant must have completed their 10+2/equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks for the non-sponsored category. The sponsored category enjoys a relaxation of 5%. They need 55% minimum aggregate for seeking admission.

Ques. What is a sponsored and Non-sponsored category?

Ans. The Non-sponsored category involves candidates with a high merit. The Sponsored category includes candidates with a low merit with high fees. The Admission Committee can suggest your admission to the category in which you might have not applied, even after your selection. In that situation, you have the right to accept or decline the proposed offer.

Ques. What are the selection criteria for admission to UG courses?

Ans. If a candidate meets the basic eligibility for admission, then he/she has to undergo a Written Test followed by an English Language Test and then Personal Interview for getting admitted to the college.
