Nice place to be where you get a good exposure since you get in touch with people from all backgrounds and all parts of the country. Further, the students are self motivated as they are inspired by their seniors. The management isn't much student friendly and doesn't respect the privacy of a student's life.
The placement and job opportunities are at the worst place they can be. There is not a single law firm (corporate or litigation) which comes to the college for placements. There is no concept of day zero in the college. The organizations that come are primarily insurance firms which give a less than sustainable offer which has to be taken by the students because of the inherent lack of choice. The college doesn't even provide internships in law offices and discourages anyone who wants to apply and intern on their own. There is no attendance relaxation shown for students who are interning and there is no internship break given by the college, hence the students have to miss classes and intern
I grew up in this college. I was protected and free at the same time. I was never a party person so the curfew timing never was my enemy though for some it was a huge deal. The culture of Punjab is also beautiful and we're situated close to the hills.
