The college is good with all basic activities and facilities for students but definitely lacking many activities and facilities when compared to NLUs. The college management is the worst thing a student has to face here. They are not at all helpful but least bothered about students demands and have a very laid back approach. If there will be an improvement in the attitude of management then this college will definitely be one of the good colleges in India. The college campus is a natural beauty and a hill of his own for short trekking. The campus is beautiful with a touch of old construction as the college is more than 95years old. It has given great aluminis like Hon'ble Mr. Justice Y.V Chandrachud, Me. Vilasrao Deshmukh, Hon'ble Mr. Justice P.B. Gajendragadkar etc.
I wanted to pursue B.A.LL.B. (5year integrated course) after my high school.I secured 95.8% in my 12th Boards in 2014 so this made it easier to get admission in ILS, PUNE through merit list. I was selected in the 3rd merit list which had cut off as 95.6%.Having read about the college and it's all India good rankings, we decided to take admission here. That time admission procedure was through merit lists. But now the procedure is through entrance exams which is conducted around July-August.
This college has really good faculty and huge library which helps to acquire knowledge. Along with studies, extra curricular activities like moot courts helps the students to understand the actual working of the court proceedings.
The College is good especially for those who plan on pursuing other competetive exams. The curriculum is such that is gives free time to students to prepare for UPSC/CA/CS/Judiciary. It also gives students the time to do running internships. Again, it depends a lot on the students to make the most of it. If one is not willing to work hard, the college might seem not so good for that individual.
I cleared the merit criteria and went through an interview process.
The college has a placement cell, which trains students for interviews and interships. The college hosts various companies at the end of the fifth year, who short list students and hire them according to their set criteria

The most important thing about my college was the prestige and the history that it holds with the field of law. Many alumnis and refrences from a bunch of people made it a very clear choice. It holds a distinctive place as the number one law college in Pune and the second in Maharshtra.by Student
