Life in Lloyd

Admission:

The admission process was on the basis of the marks scored in CLAT and then there was a personal interview for around 20 mins in which various questions were asked like why law intrigues me and what public figure I admire in the field of law etc. After the PI, I received a confirmation email.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is so designed that it encapsulates all spheres of skills required to be a qualified lawyer. The manner and method of the faculty members to deliver the knowledge restored is also great as they use presentations and engage us, grabbing our attention. Also, the qualifications of the teachers are the cherry on top. There are two semesters and therefore two exams respectively with the difficulty level being moderate.

My words and my review

The eligibility of the course is 12th standard or intermediate. We can find the application form on the website of Lloyd law college, and we can avail the benefit of scholarships based on UP. I just applied the application and I got a call for an interview after a few days I got to know that I got selected and passed the interview.

Actually, I am interested in the law field and my father supported and encouraged me to take this path. The faculty is too good and everyone had a good qualifications. Every teacher had a particular method of teaching. For every semester we had assignments, presentations, etc.

I got a reference for this college from a friend. She told me about the courses this college provides and also about the placement. That's why applied for this college and after submitting the documents I was selected for PI. They're very quick with the selection process and I received a mail for admission the very next day.

Lloyd's Faculty has an amazing way of breaking things down so that they are understandable, and always keeping it light and fun. They've been so helpful all along and so supporting, even if you contact them late hours they'll never deny to help you.

Life at Lloyd School of Law

CLAT rankers up to 10000 are directly selected. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of CLAT rank, AILET rank, LSAT rank, 12th Class Percentage, and other criteria. Students can also appear for the internal test + personal interview conducted by the college. The application form was sent via email while applying for admission. With the advent of Commerce in everyday life it's necessary to know about this field. So, I opted for BCom LLB though I was from a PCM background. There are 20 students in our class. The teacher is very experienced and mostly are Ph.D. holders. They teach the practical application of the subject with the help of case studies, class debates, activities, presentations, etc. The university exams usually get delayed and postponed. The exams are easy to pass.

LLC: A New Era

The admission process was smooth. It consisted of many entries. There were the following entry modes: Entry through Board exam marks, Entry through CLAT performance, Entry through AILET performance, Entry through LET exam followed by PI. I choose this course as I was deeply interested in the field of law. My reason for choosing Lloyd over others was due to the advantages that Lloyd provides. They provide us with a great internship experience, academically we are provided with trained and talented faculty. The student-to-teacher ratio is 50:1. The faculty are well educated and have done their masters as well. The term exams are not that hard, continuity is the key to passing the examination.
