What students say about Lloyd Law College

Likes

  • I chose this course because I am keenly interested in studying law and practicing it.
  • Here is a perfect internship opportunity; the college itself will provide you with the internship, so you will not have to run here and there.
  • If you are interested in taking part in the governance of the country or have a political background, you can enter politics as an LLB graduate.
  • If you want to seize the opportunity for the best scholarship, you have to give your best in the CLAT exam.
  • The library and reading room are the best places to have a serene environment for study or research purposes.
  • Hostels are very good. Although I am not a hosteler, I have visited the hostel many times. The food is good on every floor. The hostel provides a warden for the girls hostel. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls.
  • The interview process was very good. I was in the COVID batch, so my interview was done online.

Dislike

  • I would say that the placements here are pretty poor, and one needs to self-serve by applying here and there oneself

Placement Experience:

The Internship and Placement Cell of the college works regularly and provides internship oppurtunities frequently meeting the needs of every child. Also, there are job fests conducted on the campus itself wherein the students get a huge exposure as there are various companies that come to serve the purpose.

Remarks:

The admission process was on the basis of the marks scored in CLAT and then there was a personal interview for around 20 mins in which various questions were asked like why law intrigues me and what public figure I admire in the field of law etc. After the PI, I received a confirmation email.

Placement Experience:

For 5 years students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies and law firms visit the college for placement and the average package is around RS800000. Most students will go to higher studies or will go for litigation

Remarks:

The eligibility of the course is 12th standard or intermediate. We can find the application form on the website of Lloyd law college, and we can avail the benefit of scholarships based on UP. I just applied the application and I got a call for an interview after a few days I got to know that I got selected and passed the interview.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies that come to our university for recruitment and they also provide the student's the job they're actually skilled for. According to the student's grades companies are recruiting the students with different packages each year.

Remarks:

I got a reference for this college from a friend. She told me about the courses this college provides and also about the placement. That's why applied for this college and after submitting the documents I was selected for PI. They're very quick with the selection process and I received a mail for admission the very next day.

Placement Experience:

Placement camps are organized in which many law firms and companies take part. Students from the third year onwards get placed. The highest package is 14 lakhs. My plan after graduation is to go into the field of the judiciary for which the college has 'Your Lordship' which provides materials and lectures for the judiciary.

Remarks:

CLAT rankers up to 10000 are directly selected. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of CLAT rank, AILET rank, LSAT rank, 12th Class Percentage, and other criteria. Students can also appear for the internal test + personal interview conducted by the college. The application form was sent via email while applying for admission. The application is also available on the site of college.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement provides here is above average. Students mostly opt for a master's degree and some take a drop for PCS J preparation. But litigation is commonly chosen by students and the corporate field. The scope of employment is very wide with this degree.

Remarks:

There are two steps for getting admission: The first step is clearing the entrance exams and the Second step us PI. The combined marks are taken into consideration. The admission is also provided on the basis of CLAT marks and also 12th marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as I was deeply interested in the field of law. My reason for choosing Lloyd over others was due to the advantages that Lloyd provides. They provide us with a great internship experience, academically we are provided with trained and talented faculty. The student-to-teacher ratio is 50:1. The faculty are well educated and have done their masters as well. The term exams are not that hard, continuity is the key to passing the examination.

Remarks:

The admission process was smooth. It consisted of many entries. There were the following entry modes: Entry through Board exam marks, Entry through CLAT performance, Entry through AILET performance, Entry through LET exam followed by PI. The application form and fees can be found on the official Lloyd website.
