Ques. How is DAV College Chandigarh for a BCA?

● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 22 Oct 21

Ans. It all depends on what your goals are. If you want to acquire a degree, then choosing DAV College is fine. The college does not care about attendance and you can easily complete the program even if you miss classes for a month. However, a heavy fine will be charged for the same. If you want to learn new things and looking for great opportunities in BCA, then look for some other option. The faculty is good but they are not experienced in the area properly and this can be a setback.  Go for BCA only if you are interested in programming and computer applications, otherwise, you will regret this decision.Read more

Ques. I have to choose between Dav college Chandigarh and SD college Chandigarh for psychology honors Which one is better and in what respect?

● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 22 Oct 21

Ans. I would advise you to attend SD College. Both colleges are excellent; however, there are a few factors that give SD the upper hand over DAV. Safety and peace: DAV College has seen numerous fights and hassle among students and the crowd is not safe. On the other hand, SD College has a passionate and good crowd. Faculty: Both colleges have excellent faculty, although SD college is a little more serious about studies than the faculty at DAV. Environment: DAV attracts a raucous audience, but SD attracts a more good audience, and hence SD’s setting and ambience are considerably superior. Aside from these fundamentals, they’re both just college. Enroll in any of them; after the first semester, you’ll be skipping classes anyhow.Read more

Ques. Which is better Chandigarh University or DAV College Chandigarh?

● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 22 Oct 21

Ans. It is dependent on the course you wish to enroll in. Some courses are quite popular at Chandigarh University, whereas others are popular at DAV College. If you are looking for better infrastructure and placements, Chandigarh University should be preferred over DAV. It has been awarded an A+ grade by NAAC and is the only state-private university to be accredited by NAAC. The curriculum followed at CU is industry-oriented and based on market standards. The level of exposure you will receive here is exceptional with numerous opportunities. Apart from this, Chandigarh University has tie-ups with international institutions. The university has recorded excellent placement records with participating companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, IBM, Walt Disney, Oracle, and many more.Read more

Ques. What is your review of DAV College Chandigarh?

● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 22 Oct 21

Ans. Following is a detailed review of DAV College Chandigarh.  Pros- In comparison to the other colleges in the city, the college is quite large. It features one playground and three to four little gardens. The rooms are also quite large. The faculty is well-versed in their fields, and some of them are particularly nice and understanding. There are numerous extracurricular activities available. There are numerous clubs and societies including literary society, the economics society, the women’s cell, and the National Service Society.  There are two canteens on the premises, with this there is a Nescafé, a juice bar, a print shop, a stationery shop, a salon, and a laundry. The ambiance is quite relaxing and pleasant. You may study while also having fun in college. The library is three-storey tall. All of the books have been updated, and newspapers are available as well. Cons Teachers don’t always show up for class, and students have to suffer as a result. Attendance is not strictly enforced, and you can get away with it. The election is the worst, with many fights and unnecessary chaos on campus. The crowd is primarily made up of non-serious students, and they frequently go outside the classroom. That’s all from my end. I hope it is helpful.Read more

Any college under Punjab University has no compulsion for any uniform. Even in DAV College, you can wear any dress code like any other college. Overall, there is no dress code. Admission :

It was best in education. I discussed to my friends nd teachers while deciding college so they suggested me DAV. Before selecting colleges, students must decide what courses of study they are going to pursue, bearing in mind their academic interest and performance at the school level. One of the ways to choose the best college is to conduct extensive research. While doing that, it is imperative that one does not make ranking the foremost criteria. Another key factor in choosing a college has to 'your learning style'. Increasingly, young people have the option of going to a college that suits their learning style. Many students assume that a recognised brand name will guarantee success in future. Rather, success in life has less to do with the choice of college and more with the experiences in college, coupled with personal qualities and traits. Most employers look for skills and personality traits apart from a college degree.

Admission :

Before the rigors of senior year kick in, consider using the summer months to visit a few of the schools at the top of your list. Much information can be gained from the institution’s website and online research, but students who visit prospective colleges and universities typically access the best insights – these will be of great help if you receive multiple offers and are faced with tough decisions about which one to accept.

Remarks :

Private education is good but sometimes students feel a lot of stress some times health problems aspects in a student young age but education is important in our depending on student I think private and gov school both are same so any school or college choose your depending behaviour.
