Sri R.K.M. Law College is a memorial institute named after Sri Ravuri Kanakaiah. It is was established in the year 1990 and is located in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. The institute has the permanent affiliation with S.V. University.

Sri R.K.M. Law College offers a regular 3-year program and a 5-year integrated LL.B. course at the undergraduate level. At the post-graduate level, the institute offers an LL.M. program with specializations in Labor Law and Intellectual Property Rights Law.

  • Selection to LL.M. is done on the basis of AP PGCLET.

Sri R.K.M. Law College – UG Admissions 2023

Sri R.K.M. Law College offers a 5-year Integrated LL.B. course along with a 3-year regular LL.B. program at the undergraduate level. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the 5-year Integrated LL.B. program is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with 45 percentile aggregate marks.

For admission to the 3-year LL.B. courses, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks. Selection of candidates for both the courses is done on the basis of their rank/ score in AP-LAWCET.

Sri R.K.M. Law College – PG Admissions 2023

Sri R.K.M. Law College offers a 2-year Master of Law (LL.M.) degree program at the post-graduate level. Specializations offered under the LL.M. program include Labor Law and Intellectual Property Rights Law. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to this course is a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (3-year LL.B./ 5-year Integrated LL.B.) from a recognized institute or university.

Candidates are further required to score a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in graduation (LL.B). Selection of candidates is done on the basis of their rank/ score in AP-PGLCET. Candidates applying for the LL.M. course offered by Sri R.K.M. Law College may appear for the common entrance test (PGLCET) and attend is respective counselling.

  • Candidates appearing in the final year exam of the LL.B. program are also eligible to apply. Such candidates are given provisional admission till all the requisite documents are furnished.
  • The upper age limit for LL.M. candidates at the time of admission is 30 years. SC/ ST candidates are allowed relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.

Sri R.K.M. Law College Application Process 2023

Sri R.K.M. Law College accepts applications from eligible candidates for admission to its 5-year Integrated LL.B. and 3-year regular LL.B. programs through AP-LAWCET and its respective counselling. LL.M. candidates can apply for government quota seats through AP-PGLCET counselling. The application process in details is as follows:

  • Candidates seeking admission to law courses may visit the official website of the APSCHE http://sche.ap.gov.in/LAWCET/LAWCET/LAWCET_HomePage.aspx and fill the online application form.
  • They have to register online using his/ her latest email id and phone number prior to filling the application form online.
  • Upon successful registration, login credentials are sent to the applicant’s email id & mobile. 
  • Fill all the relevant columns in the application form with correct and accurate details. 
  • After submitting the personal and academic details, Upload scanned copies signature and photograph in pre-specified dimensions in .jpg/ .jpeg formats only.
  • The applicant gets to review the submitted information after uploading the media files.
  • A printout of the complete application form should be taken before proceeding to pay the application fee online.
  • The application fee can be paid using credit/ debit card or net-banking.
  • All candidates must appear in the CET (LAWCET/ PGLCET) for the purpose of selection.
  • Shortlisted/ CET qualified candidates must approach their nearest help centres for documents verification.
  • It is mandatory for all candidates applying for government quota seats to attend counselling conducted by APSCHE. Candidates should choose Sri R.K.M. Law College as the preferred college in the Options Entry round.

The following documents must be produced in original at the help centres for the purpose of documents verification:

  • Hall ticket of LAWCET/ PGLCET
  • Rank Card of LAWCET/ PGLCET
  • SSC / Intermediate or Equivalent marks memo
  • Study/ Bonafide Certificate from III to X Class and Intermediate (10+2)

  Candidates will be issued a receipt of Certificates at Help-line Centers after Documents Verification.
