Sri Venkateswara College of Law UG Admissions 2023

Sri Venkateswara College of Law offers a 5-year Integrated LL.B. program include a 3-year regular LL.B. program at the undergraduate level. Prospective applicants may apply through APSCHE website and appear for the state-level entrance exam for UG Law courses, i.e. AP-LAWCET. The mode of application and fee payment for LAWCET is online.

  • The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the 5-year Integrated LL.B. program is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with at least 45% marks.
  • For admission to the 3-year LL.B. courses, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks. Selection of candidates for both the courses is done on the basis of their rank/ score in AP-LAWCET.

Sri Venkateswara College of Law offers a 2-year Master of Law (LL.M.) degree program at the post-graduate level. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the course is a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (3-year LL.B./ 5-year Integrated LL.B.) from a recognized institute or university.

  • Candidates are further required to score a minimum aggregate of 50% marks at graduation level (LL.B).
  • Selection of candidates is done on the basis of their rank/ score in AP-PGLCET.

Candidates applying for LL.M. course offered by SVCL will be required to appear for the common entrance test (PGLCET) and attend counselling wherein he/she will need to enter the institute’s counselling code as the preferred choice.

Candidates can fill the application form online and pay the application fee using credit/ debit card or net-banking. Management quota candidates do not however need to take PGLCET.

  • Candidates appearing in the final year exam of the LL.B. program are eligible to apply and will be provided provisional admission until all the requisite documents are furnished.
  • The upper age limit for LL.M. candidates at the time of admission is 30 years. SC/ ST candidates are allowed a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.

Sri Venkateswara College of Law Application Process

Sri Venkateswara College of Law accepts applications from eligible candidates for admission to its 5-year Integrated LL.B. and 3-year regular LL.B. programs through AP-LAWCET and its respective counselling. Candidates seeking admission to LL.M. can apply for government quota seats through AP-PGLCET counselling.

  • Candidates should log on to the official website of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education and fill the online application form.
  • Candidates should register online using their latest email id and phone number prior to filling the application form online.
  • Upon successful registration, login credentials are sent to the applicant’s email id & mobile. The same can be used to login to the application portal for the purpose of filling the application form.
  • Upon submitting the personal and academic details, the candidate is required to upload scanned copies of his/ her signature and photograph in pre-specified dimensions in .jpg/ .jpeg formats only.
  • A printout of the complete application form should be taken before proceeding to pay the application fee online. The application fee can be paid using credit/ debit card or net-banking.
  • All candidates must appear in the CET (LAWCET/ PGLCET) for the purpose of selection. Shortlisted/ CET qualified candidates must approach their nearest help centers for documents verification.
  • It is mandatory for all candidates applying for government quota seats to attend counselling conducted by APSCHE. The candidates should choose Sri Venkateswara College of Law as the preferred college in the Options Entry round.

Candidates applying for Management Quota seats are not required to take LAWCET/ PGLCET for admission to their preferred programs. The selection of such candidates is done on the basis of their marks in the qualifying exam. Candidates seeking admission under Management Quota should contact the principal and management of the college as per schedule of admissions.
