College doing good but needs improvement. Emphasis should be laid on modern technology and equipment like e-classrooms, e-payment, better common areas etc. Declining rank of the university in the education rankings is something to worry about.
The admission is done on the basis of performance in the entrance exam which ia conducted by Panjab University. The following criteria is followed: 1) Entrance test-80 % 2) Academic performance-20% The eligibility criteria is LL.B.3 years Degree/B.A.LL.B./B. Com.LL.B. 5 years degree examination of any recognised University with minimum 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST/BC candidates).Total number of seats are 53.
In order to expose students to the 'law in action', a compulsory intership has to be done by all the students with Hon'ble Judges of Supreme Court, Punjab and Haryana High Court, eminent lawyers, legal firms, various commissions and NGOs, etc.
