The first round of online counselling for admission to DISPAR for Delhi General category was held from 3 to 5 September. The cutoff was 94 percent for B.Pharm; 91 percent for BPT; and 89 percent for D.Pharm. For Non- Delhi general category, the cutoff for admission was 95.67 percent for DIPSAR; 94.33 percent for BPT; and 94 percent for D.Pharm.

To apply, candidates have to visit the official website of DPSRU. There, they have to apply online after paying a fee of 1,000 INR online. Applications will only be accepted online with a single-window admission system. There will be a common form for D.Pharm, B.Pharm and BPT courses, and a common form for all postgraduate courses.

The applications will have to be submitted online with scanned copies of the relevant documents. Incomplete applications and applications with incorrect information will be summarily rejected.

The candidate must pay the admission fee for provisional admission and allotment of roll number.

If the candidate cancels their admission within one month of paying the fee, the fee will be refunded after a deduction of 2,000 INR. After one month, there will be no refund.

Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Research was established in 1964. It is affiliated to Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research University.

The college offers B.Pharm, D.Pharm, M.Pharm and Ph.D. programs respectively.

  • Admission to DIPSAR  in UG program is done on the basis of merit of qualifying examination.
  • Admission to M.Pharm is done on the basis of GPAT score and merit.

DIPSAR D.Pharm and B.Pharm Admission 2023

DIPSAR offers Diploma and Bachelor’s in Pharmacy for which the annual intake is 50 and 60 students respectively.

Applicants must have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate examination with English as one of the compulsory subjects. Apart from English, combination of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/ or Biology (PCM/ PCMB) is compulsory with minimum aggregate of 55% marks.

Also, candidate with any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to other examinations can also apply.

Admission to both D.Pharm and B.Pharm will be based on the merit of qualifying examination.

Key Points for B.Pharm and D.Pharm Admission:

  • Candidates who have passed class 12th through open or distance mode are not eligible to apply for admission.
  • Applicants who hold Diploma in Pharmacy approved by AICTE/ Pharmacy Council of India/ State/ Central government with minimum 45% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for lateral entry admissions.
  • More than 10% vacant seats will be reserved for lateral entry admission.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ ST are entitled to relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Applicants should have completed or should the age of 17 years before the admissions or before December 31.

DIPSAR M.Pharm Admission 2023

At postgraduate level, Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Research offers M.Pharm in the various specializations.

Applicants who hold Bachelor’s in Pharmacy with at least 55% aggregate marks are eligible to apply. Admissions will be made through candidate’s score in Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) and merit in the qualifying examination. 

For calculation of merit point, 50% GPAT score and 50% candidate’s score in the qualifying degree examination will be considered for admissions.

Seats left vacant after the counseling through GPAT, will be filled on merit basis for Non-GPAT qualified candidates.

Key Points to remember for M.Pharm Admission:

  • First preference will be given to the candidates who have qualified GPAT.
  • First 15% of the total intake will be filled by Non-Delhi candidates with valid GPAT score.
  • Candidates applying for admission must have obtained registration with State Pharmacy Council or should apply for the same within one month of completion of the admission process.
  • Applicants should have completed the age of 21 years before December 31.
  • Final merit list will be available at both the college website and the notice board.

DIPSAR Ph.D. Admission 2023

DIPSAR offers Doctoral level course in the field of Pharmacy. Candidates who have obtained Master’s in Pharmacy are eligible to apply.

 As per the guidelines of the university, candidates will be admitted through the entrance exam conducted by the college.

Students who have obtained fellowship from any recognized institution are exempted from the entrance exam as per the UGC guidelines. Such candidates may apply directly at the university before Last week of August, 2020.

DIPSAR Application Process 2023

Candidates have to submit the application for DIPSAR online through its portal. Application fee can be paid in both online and offline mode. Applicants can follow the steps given below for application submission:

  • Visit official website of DIPSAR.
  • Click on Admissions Open: Apply Online link under Latest News section at the home page.
  • Select the course of application.
  • Register with a valid phone number and email id.
  • Log in to continue the application process. An Application Locker page will appear.
  •  Select DIPSAR among the list of colleges displayed.
  • Choose the course and click on apply button.
  • Fill the mandatory details.
  • Upload scanned copies of the documents required.
  • Click on submit button.
  • Pay the Application fees.
  • Payment can be made through cash deposit at HDFC Bank or Post Office.
  • Alternatively, candidates can pay Online through Credit/Debit card/Net Banking.

Admission:

The college accepts the national level GPAT score and also the graduation marks. There is a reservation for OBC, SC, ST, Defenceman, and JnK migrants. They release Merit lists during the admission process and emails are sent to confirm the admission to the subject offered. The admission committee is extremely friendly.
