Life at the campus is not good in our college because our management doesn't allow us to go outside and play outdoor games. They only want to study nothing else. Clubs are available in our college. You can join according to your interest.

Life at our college is very boring on our campus. our college doesn't provide any sports activity and clubs and infrastructure. our college only wants to study and study. our college is very good at studies but is not quite good at clubs.

Ques. How good is hostel life at NIET?

Here are some of the information from an ex-student of NIET and a good friend of mine about the girl’s hostel. The wifi facility is available, however, most of the sites are blocked and students use VPN to use them. The food served initially is good but over time, the quality degrades. The mess committee guarantees quality and change of menus in starting year but you won’t get to see any change. Lift is also available but it never works. It is always under maintenance. The student of the first year gets 4th floor and they have to struggle a lot due to this. The security management of the hostel is quite good. The rooms in the girls’ hostel are of two types- three and four-seater. The first-year students are placed on the 4th floor in four-seater rooms and rest in 1st. 2nd, and 3rd in three-seater. There is no Gym facility for girls in the hostel. There is one on the second campus, you will have to go by NIET Bus. You are not allowed to be in your room during college hours. As there won’t be any electricity. The students are allowed to stay out till 7 pm. And for a night out, you will have to take permission from the chief warden who will first ask from parents and then allow. Overall the hostel experience will be average. You can opt for the college hostel in first year to make some friends, and move out later in 2nd year....Read more

Yes, a good PG or paying guest accommodation near NIET college is easier to find as there are many PGs and a hostel in the NIET college. The college’s hostel has a separate building for the 1st year students apart from the college campus. One great option for the PG near NIET college is the Judge’s Society (Royal Paradise). They provide all services essential for the students such as bus services, the four meal option including breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner), washing facilities, medium level internet, and the fees can be paid in the instalments. The campus is beautiful. It is within walking distance from the college that is around 1-1.5 km. The campus is surrounded by beautiful houses and is secured also....Read more

Ques. Can I pay my hostel fees in installments in NIET?

NIET does not offer any facility to pay the hostel fee in installments. The students can however pay some amount as booking amount. But the administration may say that they will not allow you to give semester exams and inhibit giving admit cards. So you need to pay the rest amount before the semester exam. The team may also impose a late submission fee. I have a few friends who recently graduated from NIET. According to them, choose the hostel if you are in your first year. Otherwise, you can also live in any PG or Flat nearby as per your convenience....Read more

One of my friends studies at NIET andaccording to him, NIET Noida has its in-campus hostels, each for males and females. The types of rooms available for both males and females with their respective charges are below. Type Male (in INR) Female (in INR) Single Seater 1,04,200 1,04,200 Two-Seater Attached 1,00,100 1,00,100 Two-Seater (Type 1) 95,400 (AC: 1,18,900) 95,400 Two-Seater (Type 2) 94,300 94,300 The above charges are aggregate of room rent, mess (advance), medicals, and security deposits of INR 5,000 each (refundable). It is not worth spending pennies for the in-campus hostel. The mess meals are somehow tolerable. So, if you are going ahead with the hostel, do give it a second thought and search for accommodation outside the hostel. The accommodation facilities are plenty. You can easily find one....Read more
