Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science is a government medical institution established in 1960. How To Apply?
- Visit the official website of medical college and click on the 'Academics' tab to download the admission form or collect it from college reception.
- The form needs to be duly filled carefully and pay the application fee of INR 2400. The payment is to be made via challan in State Bank of India, Rohtak.
- The applicant is then required to courier the filled application form and payment receipt with mandatory documents and 3 passport size photographs to the university address.

PGIMS Rohtak Placement
PGIMS Rohtak provides an internship program of 1 year to the final year students. Out of which, 2 months internship at a rural health care unit or research center is mandatory. The fixed stipend offered per month is INR 16,900.
For Placements, the professional graduated students can apply for government jobs as per the vacancies or either opt for the option of a private clinic. The college has an online portal that gives regular alerts for job vacancies for interested students.

The medical institute provides scholarships to students with economically weaker backgrounds and to reserved category students but for that, students must have their income proof or category certificate as proof. Few other offered scholarships are:

- Library: The Institute has a library with a collection of more than 42,600 books for various students of the medical science stream. Also, it has more than 150 national and international journals. Apart from that, a huge collection of magazines and research papers is available for staff members and students. 248 online journals are available in the library and OPD ward of the hospital.
- Hostel: Two separate hostel buildings are built near the campus for feasible accessibility. One is the girls’ hostel and the other is for boys. To ensure the safety and security of every student, separate wardens are allotted to each of the hostel premises. All basic facilities are available for students within the premises to ensure the comfort of living. Discipline is maintained.
- Laboratories: Well-equipped laboratories are constructed on the college campus. Separate labs for departments of medical science provide hassle-free educational services.
- Smart Classrooms: Digital and modern ways of imparting education are used by the medical institute. Classes are fitted with projectors and screens for a digitized experience of learning. It enhances the quality of information and widens the application of the mind.
