The Best College In MP (SGSITS)

Admission:

If you must be admitted to Btech, you must crack the Entrance Exam JEE Mains. As per the MP Dte counseling the seat are allotted in the college. Yeah, there is a reservation seat but its all handle by the MP Dte it does not depend on the college.

Life at SGSITS Indore

Admission:

One has to qualify for JEE mains to apply for MPDTE counseling through which one can get admitted to the college. You can find the application form for JEE mains at jeemain.nic.in. The admission process is a well-systematic process and I don't see any changes required in this.

A brief introduction of SGSITS

Admission:

I cleared JEE mains and qualified for the criteria of my course. I got admitted in the first upgraded round. The cutoff was 94 percentile in which I scored 96.42 percentile. The eligibility was just to have higher secondary qualification through science (non-medical field). We can find the application form at jeemain.nic.in. I didn't find any improvement in the process.

The process of admission is on the bases of your JEE mains score and courses are offered on the bases of your JEE rank. You can find all the details on the college site. The admission process is quite good and I don't think that any improvement is required in it.

Internship Opportunities at SGSITS

Admission:

The admission was done on the basis of the JEE MAINS rank . But if someone didn't gave JEE examination than he/she could take admission on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in 12. The form which we need to fill was of mpdte. And the application fee was around 1200Rs and the documents which were to be submitted along with the application was jee mains score card, 12th marksheet ,10th marksheet, domicel , transfer certificate. I personally didn't availed any reservation benifits as I was from general category. But there were reservation benefits for the students belonging to obc , sc and st categories. The website for initiating the admission process was little bit slow but, so if the website could be made little bit more user friendly and fast then it would be very good.

Admission:

So, to take admission in SGSITS college Indore, firstly you have to give jee mains exam and on the basis of this you can do your choice filling of different colleges and branches at mpdte online website where you have to do registration and you have mp domicile certificate then you are lucky bcoz it holds 90 to 95 percent of the seats in the college and then there will two rounds after choice filling then you can get college according to the best of your rank in jee mains. But you can also get admission to this college on the basis of your 12th marks but its possibilities are less.

With a score of 120 in JEE Mains and 91.2% in CBSE, you are fit for the IT or EC branch in IET DAVV in the second round of counseling by DTE. In the past, students have got the IT/EC branch at such scores or even less. I have a friend who is an alumnus of IET DAVVa and his score was 125 in JEE and 87% in MP board. There’s a good chance that you will be selected. As for SGSITS, with this rank, you can easily get any branch you like. Here is the required cutoff for IET DAVV and SGSITS in recent years. Yes, it is possible to get into any of these colleges with this rank, be it SGSITS or IET DAVV. But you wouldn't get into the branch according to your choice. It only depends on the number of seats available for each branch and the number of students applying for a particular branch. The table below shows the required cutoff for SGSITS and IET DAVV. It would be a bit difficult to get listed in both the colleges, but in college-level counseling, there is still a 50% chance. A friend of mine got admission to the EI branch at IET DAVV with a rank of AIR 1,60,000 (general category) through CLC. You might get branches like EI, Biomedical, etc. You can get these branches in college-level counseling or even in the second round. But it’s risky. If you fail to get in, you may have to drop a year. My friend got lucky with the seat. I will only recommend going for it, if you are willing to drop a year or have other alternatives. ...Read more

Ques. Can I get into SGSITS or IET-DAVV with a 316,000 rank in general?

The short answer is no. My brother is currently studying mechanical engineering at IET-DAVV. He got AIR 63000 rank in the general category and still had to struggle a lot to get admission. With a rank of 3,16,000, it’s next to impossible to get into IET-DAVV even from SC/ST category. However, if you are looking forward to the next attempt, check out the opening and closing ranks of IET-DAVV 2020 to get a better view.
