The teachers are very kind and helpful to us. There is two sem in every year held 2 times and the gap between them is 5-6 months.

Placement Experience:

From 4-5, sem students are eligible for the campus. Companies like tata, Mahindra and many more visited and made offers for the student. I don't know the about highest package yet but it can satisfy you. Minimum 60-70% of students get placement. My plan is to do CA after my graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course was necessary for every student in the commerce stream, so everyone suggested this course. Speaking about the faculty, they were so good and friendly that no students ever had any complaints about the faculty. There were a few professors who were strict but were excellent at teaching and helping in solving any doubt a student has in mind. There are about 3-5 teachers in each department, viz., Accountancy, business studies, banking, etc. They were so well educated that each of them held a minimum of 2 degrees including a Ph.D., Master, and many more professional degrees. Two exams happened in each semester one sessional of 30 marks and one final examination of 100 marks(20 marks for assignments).

Campus Life:

There were many events in the college conducted by the college students union like freshers for new students, college week for various indoor and outdoor sports, cultural programs, etc. There were many amenities in the classroom like a projector, AC, digital boards, etc. Some inter-college cricket football and other sports also take place where you can participate and extracurricular activities also take place such as cycling, and bodybuilding.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this B. Com course because of the wide range of career options it provides and it has a significant impact on the economy. This course can open up many career paths, including accounts, management, finance, advertising, business law, etc. As per the record of 2018-2021, the ratio of faculty to students is approx. 20:1. we can say that the Qualifications of the faculty can be Ph.D., Masters, BEd, etc. And their teaching methods are quite decent and simple. B.Com is a 3-year undergraduate degree program designed to provide, a Bachelor of Commerce professional degree. It consists of 6 semesters, 6 months for each semester. So, term exams take place twice a year. For me, this course is neither easy nor difficult to pass I. e, average.

Campus Life:

Student unions conduct annual fest, freshers, farewell, puja, etc every year. The library is quite vast in this college. classrooms are not very clean, college should take some steps towards cleanliness of the classrooms and campus but the lab is clean and well maintained. The boy's toilet is very dirty and pathetic. Sports and extracurricular activities are there on campus like kabbadi, cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, chess, gymnastics, magazine writing, dancing, singing, etc. social groups are ABVP and AASU. there is no such website that is run by the students.

Ques. Is it worth doing bcom accounting and finance in SRM institute of science and technology Chennai. What's the scope and could you please give me full details like exams we should persuade, college etc.

● Top Answer By Kashish Yaduvanshi on 31 Mar 23

Ans. Some basic details of the BCom program from SRM Institute of Science and Technology are  Particulars  Data Duration 3 years Course Level UG Degree Total Tuition Fees INR 3.90 Lakh Total Seats 130 Qualification  12th CBSE Entry Criteria 50%  Candidates must have passed in 10+2 (Accountancy & Commerce Mandatory) with mentioned marks from any recognised board. Median CTC  INR 2.5 Lakh Highest CTC  INR 41.6 Lakh Top Recruiters  ACCENTURE | Biocon | canon | DATA PATTERNS | GODREJ | HONEYWELL | just dial | Samsung | Tech Mahindra Some more details about the University are Infrastructure : The college has decent infrastructural facilities with great importance to sports and extracurricular activities Academics : Honestly, this is where the Institute lacks. The staff delivers robotic knowledge without any lively classroom discussions making the learning experience monotonous. Placements : The placement cell of the college works pretty hard to maintain a decent placement scenario and students with good academic performance usually get good packages.  ROI: Another aspect I feel one should consider is the ROI which is low in case of SRM. The fees are extremely high in comparison to the academic standards but the surety of placements makes people choose it anyway. Campus Life : You get to experience amazing college life with lots of creative activities and new things to learn. Ultimately it’s you who decides whether a certain college is right for you or not, so do your part of the research and make a wise decision.Read more

Ques. How does it feel to do both B.Com with ACCA in St Joseph College Bangalore?

● Top Answer By Jayati Bose, on 10 Nov 21

Ans. One of my friends studied at St. Joseph College Bangalore. According to him, it is a very green and safe campus. Here are some facts about it: Classes start here at 6:30 AM, this gives time to do internships later in the day. St, Joseph Bangalore is a bit expensive compared to other courses but the global exposure offered is beneficial for your career.  The placements are conducted at the end of the year and various companies recruit students from this campus.  Admission process starts with a written aptitude test followed by an interview.  The hostels in St. Joseph’s College are affordable compared to others. They do not provide food as there are almost 10 food joints around the campus.  The faculty is highly experienced. Most of them are visiting faculty.  This course gives students a global aspect of accounting. It includes various fields of the business like entrepreneurship and finance specialization. The exam structure is divided equally between end-semester papers, CIAs, and mid-semester papers. Cultural fests and Inter-College competitions are also conducted which provides enough exposure.Read more
