Ans. After doing some research online, I would suggest not to go for IEM at Ramaiah, until and unless you are extremely interested in studying that particular subject. Since it will not pay you anything and you will eventually wind up in the same category of mass placement at one of the service-based companies.  Double-check the topics you will be studying. EEE is usually less exposed than IEM, yet EEE is regarded as the most complex branch to be studied.  The majority of EEE / ECE / other branches receive job offers from Infosys, HCL, Accenture, or Tech Mahindra. Ans. The choice depends on the branch of your interest. If you are interested in pursuing Computer Science Engineering, IIT Ropar is the best choice. If you are unsure of your choice, IIT Delhi is the best option. Ans. I know a little bit about ISI Kolkata since I have a few friends from the institute. Here is what you should know about the internships between semesters.  The course curriculum specifies that in the summer after completing your first year of M.Tech, you have to do an internship either in the industry or academia. You will have 3 options.  Industry: Many companies that visit the Campus for placements of 2nd-year students also select interns for the same. Some of such companies are Samsung Research Labs, Google, General Electric, Reliance, Flipkart, De Shaw, JP Morgan Chase, etc. The average stipend offered last year was 65,000 rupees/month. Some companies offer more than 1 lakh/month. One of my friends interned at Samsung Research Labs. Academia: As per ISI guidelines, you need to pursue an internship at a different academic Institute or industry. A friend of mine went to NUS Singapore, while two others went to a university in Germany. You can also apply to other institutes in Japan, USA, and Europe. People also go to IITs, CMI, and other Tier-1 Institutes of India. Within ISI: If for some reason you could not get an internship in the above-mentioned ways, you can approach any of the 250+ faculty members across all 5 ISI‘s and can ask to work with them in their labs. You will have internships at the end of the first year. In the second year, you will have placements, dissertation, academics. So, the only time left to do an additional internship is the winter break after the first sem. Unless you are extremely enthusiastic, I will suggest that you take a break during this period. Ans. Your decision completely depends on your priority as to what is the most important to you, the branch or the college. Being a graduate from NIT Agartala, I would suggest you go for NIT Agartala rather than NIT Mizoram. If college is the most important to you then you should go for NIT Agartala. The infrastructure is far better than most of the NITs. You may have to face some trouble regarding the faculties as they are not up to the mark. If the branch is your priority go for ECE, however, Production Engineering also has grown as a department. You can make your careers in Supply Change, Quality Management, and Control, etc. Other than this, your choice should depend upon the location. Give preference to the one that's closer to your home. Both the colleges are tier 3 Indian engineering colleges and the graduates have been working in companies with a package of 3 to 4 lakhs per annum. Ans. IIT Bhubaneshwar has come into existence recently and it is a new and young institute. It needs to develop more to grow and attain the reputation like other well stable institutes. It has to improve in terms of infrastructure, faculty, and opportunities. A few points on IIT Kharagpur before taking a decision: IIT Kharagpur is a well stable and maintained institute and has everything that you wish in an institute. It has the best faculty, reputation, and infrastructure. You can choose IIT Kharagpur if you want to spend your college years on a good campus with all the facilities as it is heaven for four years. If you are not getting the branch of your interest, there is an option to change the branch. But you must attain a higher GPA in your first semester, however, it is not an assured way and is risky. Compared with Industrial System Engineering at IIT Kharagpur, EE at IIT Bhubaneshwar would be a better option as the academics and job opportunities are better. Remarks :

Jadavpur University is the heritage and pride of West Bengal. There is a sense of pride and fulfillment associated with studying in Jadavpur University. The affordable fees and high quality of education were also driving factors. The open-minded nature of everyone including teachers and the freedom of pursuing your dream were included too. I opted for the course because my rank allowed an option between mechanical and production. I chose production due to the statistics and Operations research oriented subjects linked to it. These would help me pursue my desired higher study course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is structured to cover all the subjects required to gain industrial and practical knowledge. The faculty are very friendly and very knowledgeable. One of the faculties that made a mark on me was my first semester Electrical engineering professor. The level of academics is at par with the some of the best colleges in the country. Proved by the NIRF Rank 14.

Placement Experience :

Jadavpur University has seen a rapid growth in placement over the years. The institution has a good placement record with the highest salary package of INR 42 LPA whereas the average salary stood at INR 19.96 LPA. The University holds 80% of the total placement record.

Placement Experience :

Our college will be vistied by many big MNC's like FORD, ASHOK LEYLAND, CATERPILLAR, HYUNDAI, FCA, INFOSYS, CTS, WIPRO, ZOOM and many other companies. The general filter things will be the GPA of the students and they will be further filtered by online test containing aptitude and core related questions followed by GD and 2 or 3 layers of personal interview process some times we will also have practical interviews about 70 pecent of studens who have good score and good vision will be placed in an company. Some students even have 2 placement offers at a time. Yes, our institute will give training in aptitude and core related question trainings our professors will give advices before going to placement.

Faculty :

Our department in oir college is one of the biggest department in our college we have about 100 teaching and non teaching faculty members for about 1:1 ratio of students and professors. We have about 20 doctrate holders, 30 teaching staffs and about 50 non traching staffs for our workshop things. We have also visitng faculty who have above 35 years of teaching and industrial experiences and our professor will annually attend many international conferences and industries they will visit to enlighten our knowledge also. Some professors also have even Management degree to teach us about management areas.

Yes the curriculum was groomed to provide industry specific knowledge to the students that had helped me my friends to got placememt. Ours college is governmnet college so we also have to self interest in learning because many facilities are availble in our college and to improve our knowledge we can visit any industries with the help of our college id card and our professors will also accompany as in the industrial visit we will be seeing many compnaies and the professor will also help to learn. But mainly you have to learn if u want to become a good engineer and shine in society.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is quite good there are many project and activities going on the the college thouroughout the year. It is a very fun place and it helped me a lot to develop myself and become a better person. There are many teams that participate in different competition and they are very friendly. I myself was in one of the teams it feels like a family to be in it the faculty is also very helpful and guides their students in every way possible. There are certain Industrial Visits arranged for the students and there are many social activities done that help people around the college and over mumbai grow with us.

Admission :

I gave a entrance exam named MHT-CET. I applied for online admission on Maharashtra government engineering admission site, upload my marks and all personal information. And based on my choices of colleges I got this college and I was happy with that so I filled up the admission form and took the admission and paid my fees at the same time.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is quite expensive for the people who doesn't have any reservations or quota. But for the people having reservation it is very very cheap as the difference in the fees vary way too much. For open category the fees is about 1. 4 lakhs and for the reservation students it is in some thousands.
