Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked the study of the earth, thus I chose the subject of geology. And in today's world where everyone is going for engineering or medical or MBA, wanted to pursue a different stream with a good scope. The faculties were quite good and the faculty-student ratio was awesome it was almost 1:1 as the department was new and students were fewer. But the faculty and studies, etc were quite good. The faculties were well qualified and their teaching and everything was quite good. The term exams and all the exams were timely taken and the marking system was moderate to good.

Campus Life:

There are various fests like mridyang, freshers, etc. The social life is okay. The books and journals are moderately available in the library. The amenities are again okay to good, the classrooms are moderate. We also attend various geological fests of other colleges like iits, Jadavpur, etc which provides excellent learning and enjoyment too. Overall the library, classroom, and social life are quite good here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course for the purpose of getting a Graduation degree. There are a total of 5 faculties in the department of Geology. In each semester 17, 9, and 13 students are there. Earlier there was a huge number of students in this course. The teaching method is not good, need to self-study a lot. Qualification of teachers is 3 teachers have a Ph.D. degree whereas two have masters degree only. Very fast the term exams were conducted. Easy to pass if you study well.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

In each year the fees to be paid are for 1st year need to pay 7020 similarly in 2nd and 3rd year also. Total of Approximately 25000 for the Three years one has to pay. I don't have any idea about scholarship and financial assistance but there may be scholarship and financial assistance as every educational institution have such scholarships and financial assistance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a very interesting subject related to the earth and it's all internal structure. we can do field trips and have more adventure also with studying, so I choose this subject. 10 faculty on 50 students, so I think the faculty: students ratio is good enough. All the teachers are Ph.D. holders or persuing a Ph.D., and they use the latest technologies like projectors, computers, and slideshow for a better understanding of students. The exams were timely on 6 months as per CBS but when I read there was the yearly exam. The exams were easy to pass.

Campus Life:

No annual fest is organized, only an annual sports meet was organized is the month of December. All books and library and available in the college library and you can borrow them at home for a maximum of 15 days. Classrooms are well-lighted, and projectors and drinking water is available in classrooms. You can play badminton, carrom board, cricket, kabbadi, etc in college. No social groups, or clubs are run by students, only political students union are present on the college campus.
