Ans. Yes, not only this year but for the last 5-6 years, MIT Aeronautical Engineering has been facing a lot of trouble in general. The primary reason is that it is one of the university departments of Anna University. In India, there are fewer core companies, and they mostly visit the IITs and NITs. Most of the students are attending IITs and NITs, which also decreases the number of students getting admission in MIT. Exams are used by public sector companies such as DRDO and ISRO to hire employees, and students had to apply after completing their undergraduate degrees. The curriculum isn't very good, in comparison to other streams. Some businesses require specialization, so they opt for P.G. There was no proper guidance from the staff. This is a major issue in the department. Admission :

Jain University organizes their own entrance exam every year(named JET). Once I wrote the exam I was short-listed and called for an interview by the Associate Director. I was questioned on various aspects such as previous education, marks obtained, hobbies, extra-curricular. I was extremely comfortable while answering these questions and the interviewer structured it such I wouldn't say otherwise. This University has a vibrant atmosphere and great appreciation for extra-curricular activities. Apart from this the faculty and the lab facilities are quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The syllabus is well in sync with industry knowledge. However it can be improved in areas of practicality and scalability. The curriculum has additional subjects such as Sociology and Business Communication which teach you behavior and etiquette. An industrial visit to the HAL Aeronautical Museum, where our teachers demonstrated various practical applications of the knowledge gained in class. This was a very beneficial and a wholesome experience.

Placement Experience :

We have an upcoming internship at IIT-Kharagpur where we will learn about advanced machines in our domain. However, there is not enough support when it comes to placements and will have to be individually looked for. Companies such as Mahindra-Aerospace and Millenium Aerospace have recently visited the campus recruiting students. The institution has organizes campus placement training for students, usually few weeks before the recruitment.

My course is aerospace it is interesting as well as tough we have really nice faculty they are really experienced very helpful and they keep telling us about things and skills one should have in aerospace to meet the current industry standards. And we had industrial visit in February we went to many organizations related to our branch and saw them how they work.

Our college is relatively expensive than others there is no need to pay additional fees to get admission college provided full transparency in fee they do not hike fees for four year of your course they tell you cumulative fees you have to pay at very beginning and you have to pay likely at each semester.

Admission :

Our college has entrance exam through wich you get the seat in college and as per your rank you get desired branches, I took admission college in year 2017. I opted aerospace because I have so much intrest in space and flying objects and i wanted to learn everything thing about it i was so much enthusiastic.

Admission :

After completing my higher secondary course with 85 percent marks, i got admission in this institute. The minimum eligibility was 80 percent marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics is mandatory in higher secondary examination. Students should clear their Central University Common Entrance Examination (CUCET) to get admission in this course. Students from open University and diploma course are not eligible for admission.

Remarks :

Our institute was the best institute for aviation studies. The infrastructure of the institute was very good. The institute provides facilities like library, computer laboratories and departmental laboratories, free wifi facilities smart classroom, spacious playground, canteen, auditorium etc. Both teaching and non teaching staff of our institute are very helpful and supportive.

Placement Experience :

Job opportunities is very good in our institute. Most of the students are placed in the companies related to the fields of Aeronautical and Aerospace, IT automobiles, Banking and Insurance, Energy and power, Tourism etc. Most of the students get recruited in the campus interview. Companies like Mahindra, Audi, Mercedes Benz, Jet Airways etc recruited from our institute.

The placements in the campus are really good. Core companies will have direct campus placements on each courses. 80 to 90 percentage of students get placed in any of these core companies. Campus also provide higher education in foreign colleges who they have tie up on different research purposes. One of the main example is Arizona university and Buffalo university. There is a different section called campus and industrial relations which will help the students to prepare fore placements and company interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is well set up and is mostly research-based. On each semester there will be an end semester exam and two written exams called periodical test. The internals constitute of project work and different set of assignments regarding each subject. Amrita university bags 4th rank in NIRF 2020 rankings. Campus placements are available for mostly every department. Each workshops and labs provide hand on experience on all instruments and procedures.

The admission procedure of this college is by writing an entrance exam provided by their administration or or writing joint entrance exam (JEE) which is the national entrance exam. I want to graduate in aerospace engineering because of my passion.
