How to get admission to good BTech Biotechnology Colleges?

To get admission into a good college one needs to ensure to have scored more than 90% in 10+2 level. Apart from this, most of the institutes provide admission to the course on the basis of entrance examinations, hence preparing well for the entrance exams is a must for an aspirant.

Following are some of the points to crack these entrances:

  • The questions in these entrance exams are generally asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
  • The entrance examination mainly consists of  MCQ based questions and numeric type questions. The duration of most of the entrance tests will be 3 hours.
  • The students should first introspect themselves which of the three subjects is the easiest for them. It is always advised to start with the easiest subject in these exams.
  • Students should give equal importance to each and every section while preparing for the exam.
  • It will be beneficial for a student to maintain a separate notebook where all the important formulas and points are noted down for a quick revision.
  • Students should make sure that they are well versed with tricky chapters like mechanics, optics, etc because most of the tricky questions are asked from these chapters.
  • Students should properly revise all the inorganic reactions and should work out all the organic reactions properly.
  • While preparing for the organic reactions, more emphasis should be given on the mechanism of the reaction. Most of the questions are asked from reaction mechanisms only.
  • Solving previous year papers and writing mock tests are an integral part of the preparation. Aspirants should write at least 10-15 mocks before writing the actual examination.

Last but not least, clear the rounds like counselling and verification round with confidence and success.

Note: Before shortlisting and selecting colleges finally, ensure to check the placement rate of the college, method of course delivery, admission system, and the financial aid offered  there
