Ans. The two things that help you choose between new IITs and old NITs (or top NITs) are the Tag Value and the Experience. Better Choice If you like to have a tag of IIT, then choosing IIT Jodhpur is a better option. But if you are comfortable with a good branch in top NITs, then NIT KKR is a better option for the long run, even though you have the option of IIT in your hand. The reason for choosing old NIT over new IIT is that the old NIT will have a well-established alumni base. Even the professors are skilled. Features of the institutes The placements of NIT KKR for CSE are excellent. The highest package of INR 43.31 LPA in NIT KKR went for CSE branch.
