Eligibility for M.A. Marathi

Candidates willing to apply for the course need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria listed here:

  • 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/university in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
  • Qualifying examination needs to have been passed with English, Regional Language and any two of History, Geography, Economics, Political Science and Sociology as main subjects.

M.A. Marathi: Admission Process

Admission to the course is provided to eligible candidates on the basis of performance in a relevant entrance examination, which is conducted either by the concerned institution or at the State or national level. A cut-off score is set for the examination and students clearing that are eligible for the counseling process.

The counseling process comprises two additional rounds of Group Discussion and Personal Interview, wherein the candidate’s general aptitude for the course is examined, and seats are allotted to qualifying students.

Although, there are some colleges in India that provide admission on the basis of marks scored in last qualifying examination (graduation).

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculty is highly educated. Having enough knowledge of their subjects. Having multiple higher degrees like P.hd,M.Phil,Net,Set.. Teaching methods are also good and effective. Term exams are held, but college is very strict.

Campus Life :

Annual and youth festival are held every year.. Beside that tech fest and extra curricular activities are taken.. NSS,NCC,Social groups,clubs are formed..there are 9 college journals published..

Placement Experience :

TCS, MICROSOFT, HCL, se companies taking campus..placement are surely taken with higher packeges.. percentage of placement is great.
