M.Ch ENT course program is an integrated 3 year, full time, post graduate degree course which imparts adequate prudence and skills necessary to perform clinical and surgical procedures with full hands-on expertise.

For the medical students acquiring an MBBS degree, the duration of the course is extended to 5 years. 

For M.Ch ENT admission one should have earned 50% aggregate marks in MBBS and should be in possession of MS/MD course. Registration with the Medical Council of India is must and a minimum of 2 years of work experience in ENT surgery or general surgery is a mandatory criteria to secure a seat in M.Ch ENT post graduate program.

Admission to M.CH in ENT course in most of the colleges is processed through active Participation in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-SS) which is being conducted by National Board of Examinations followed by counseling round.

  • The Total Seats allotted in India for M.Ch course is 1499 uptil now and the frequency of taking exams is once as well as for some colleges, twice in a year.

  • A graduate with MBBS degree in possession with a restorative MD/MS/DNB post degree/ provisional pass certificate with an aggregate of 55% from any medical Institution approved by Medical Council of India. 
  • Enrollment Mandatory to get registered with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council( MCI/SMC). The same has to be submitted as a document of proof at the time of taking the exam.
  • Experience A 2 year relevant work involvement in General Surgery/ E.N.T Surgery
  • Result Candidates awaiting their final exam result are also eligible to apply confirming their result before the cut off date failing which the candidature is likely to be cancelled.

Candidates falling under the category of foreign nationals need not have MCI. To undergo the process of registration, The MCI will issue a temporary registration for the duration of M.CH degree which can be availed by them by effective payment of registration. The candidates should also possess a registered MS degree from their own country from an authorized body.
