Ques. What is the use of doing an M Tech in JNTUK?

● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 25 Oct 21

Ans. M.Tech has generally pursued research purposes. If you are highly interested in your subject then go for it without any further hesitation. To enhance your knowledge is never a decision that would make you regret it later.  You might even be offered an opportunity to opt for the post of Assistant Professor or Research Assistant. Your B.Tech qualification would suffice the criterion for private companies as a degree in M.Tech is not much of value in the corporate field.  You may opt for this course if you are immensely interested in acquiring a job post as a research assistant, etc. Otherwise, it would merely be a waste of time.Read more

Ques. How is M.Tech in Pondicherry university?

● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 28 Sept 21

Ans. M.Tech, as a degree, is a very good choice at Pondicherry University. However, it also depends upon the department you are choosing. Some of the programs such as Nano Science, Data Science, Computer Science, and Architecture are quite great at the institute.  In many cases, students of the university often claim that the placement percentage, unlike other institutes, is lower than usual. Some also say that the peer group at the institute is not that good.  Contrary to what they say, it is not quite true. One of my friends is a recent alumnus of Pondicherry University and is now settled in a top firm. So, if you have the required skills, you can easily get job offers.  There are many students engaged in government and privately funded projects. For academics, Pondicherry University is quite good. However, you will have to look for jobs on your own. Read more

Ques. Which M.Tech program at ISI Kolkata is better, CS, QROR or Cryptology?

● Top Answer By Jyotshna Ranjan on 21 Sept 21

Ans. After doing some research online, I would say that all the courses at ISI Kolkata are amazing if you know which field you have to choose. Everything depends on your choice of the field as every field is distinct from one another. Now, I would mention that for M.Tech CS & QROR, these are already well-established Programs and need no introduction.  QROR: It’s a course based on subjects in applied statistics and business analytics. If you want to be in Business Analytics, it’s better than CS & Crypto. CS: It has theoretical CS as well as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Courses. This will give you ample opportunity to do a Ph.D. as well as jobs in Data science positions. If you like coding and discrete mathematics etc then this is a zone to play in. Crypto: ISI has India’s best Crypto people. And this is the first year of M.Tech Crypto so there is not much data available. But if you are not good in Abstract algebra Number theory then say not to this course. Research opportunities after M.Tech Crypto will definitely be better than that of QROR or CS. I hope this helps you in clearing how all the three courses are distinct from each other. Each has its different criteria and comfort. Read more

Ques. How is Mtech in structure in jntuh?

● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 03 Sept 21

Ans. One of my friends graduated from JNTUH in Transportation Engineering. Here is his review of the M.Tech courses offered at JNTUH. According to him, the academic environment of the institute is not that great. It is especially true for the Civil Engineering Dept. The department has experienced professors but they hardly take the classes. Obviously, it is not true for everyone but most of the professors are more engaged in their consultancy work than teaching.  The lab assistants are also not cooperative. If you don’t have a good relationship with them, then your project work can't go smoothly and it will take longer than the estimated time. The placement record for M.Tech branches at JNTUH is not that great. According to the recent placement highlights, the placement average for M.Tech is around 75% and the average CTC offered is around 9 LPA.  Regarding research, if you don’t have any new ideas for doing research then you will be given a research abstract, which was previously completed but with slight variations in it. The professor doesn’t encourage students to take on new research topics.  According to my friend, it’s better to keep JNTUH as your second preference. Choose Osmania University, if you have an option. Read more

Ques. How does life changes after doing M. Tech. from NIT Trichy?

● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 31 Aug 21

Ans. The answer depends on how are performing in the government sector by making the most of your M.Tech degree. Most of M.Tech holders in India remain unemployed and end up getting teaching jobs at private engineering colleges in the country with very underwhelming fees. The Indian curriculum of engineering is 40 years old and there is no demand for M.Tech students in the private sector.Read more
