M.Tech. in Fluids Engineering is a postgraduate engineering course concerned with the mechanics of fluids such as liquids, gases, and plasmas and the forces acting upon them. M.Tech in Fluids Engineering: Course Duration

The duration of the course is two years, spread over four semesters. Each semester is usually 6 months long. The first year of the course provides a definite theoretical knowledge and practical experience whereas the last year mainly focuses on dissertation and project submission.

M.Tech. in Fluids Engineering: Eligibility 

To pursue M.Tech Fluids Engineering, candidates should have a B.Tech/ B.E. in Fluids Engineering or allied branches (Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ Mechanical/ Civil/ Chemical Engineering) from any recognized university obtained through a 10+2+4 system of education. The minimum percentage required is 50% (differs from institute to institute) in aggregate or equivalent CGPA in graduation. During the placement process, many software and mechanical firms visit the campus.  According to the recent placement highlights, the placement average for Welding Technology was around 60%.
