AIBE-X 2018 will be held in March 2018. It is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper mode). Candidates will be given 2 hours to complete the test.

  • There will be 100 objective type multiple choice questions in test paper.
  • Maximum marks are 100
  • Each correct answer earns one (1) mark.
  • Negative marking scheme is not applicable in AIBE-X 2018.
  • This is an open book exam. Candidate can bring books in the exam.

All India Bar Examination (AIBE-X) is a qualifying exam for Practicing of Law Profession in India. AIBE-X is conducted by Bar Council of India in 40 cities across India. 


AIBE-X 2018 Exam Pattern

AIBE-X 2018 Exam is intended to test general and basic knowledge of Indian Law & Constitution and Legal Procedures. Syllabus of AIBE-X is based on subjects covered under LL.B degree course.

  • 100 Questions will be derived from 19 Subjects of studies of Law.
  • Number of questions and weightage of each subject are different.
  • The test paper will be consisting questions of 100 objective type multiple choice questions.
  • Each question is allotted One (1) mark for the correct response.
  • No marks will be deducted for incorrect response of any question.

AIBE-X 2018 Exam Day Instructions

There are some important instructions that a candidate must follow on AIBE-X 2018 exam day: -

  • Candidates are advised to reach the examination center at least 1 hour before commencement of exam.  
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the AIBE-X 2018 test center after 30 minutes of beginning of the test.
  • 20 minutes extra time per hour will be given to Physically Handicapped candidates. Candidate must keep a disability certificate during exam.
  • OMR Response sheet will be given for marking response.
  • Instructions for marking answers are mentioned on OMR Sheet, candidate must follow these instructions.
  • First complete required entries related to exam and candidate’s details.
  • AIBE-X is an ‘open-book’ exam, in which candidates can bring in any book, reading materials or study aids, such as these preparatory materials, textbooks and treatises, and even handwritten note.
  • Log Tables, Calculator, Any textual material, Calculators, Mobile Phone, Slide Rules, Electronic watches with facilities of printed or written material, bits of papers, pager or any other device, are not allowed.
