AIEED 2023 Exam Pattern has been released by Arch Academy of Design which offers B.Tech qualifications from UK. Students who wish to pursue career in various fields of design can appear for the same. Undergraduate students with valid AIEEE Rank/ NATA Score/ NID Score are eligible for direct interview process.
This year AIEED will be held in online mode in different phases, AIEED 2023 March session II exam will be held from March 15- April 10, 2023. AIEED 2023 is conducted in three stages:
- General Ability Test (GAT): General Ability Test (GAT) is conducted in online mode. It will consist of 60 questions worth 100 marks. The exam duration will be of 2 hours. The question will come from Design sensibilities, Logical Reasoning, design-related awareness, awareness on global issues, & Concepts Comprehension. Check AIEED Syllabus
- Creative Ability Test (CAT): Creative Ability Test (CAT) is conducted in Online Mode. The exam will consist of 50 questions and complete within 3 hours The total marks will be 200. The exam will comprise of Articulation Skills both written & visual, Design Thinking, Lateral Thinking & Creative Problem Solving, & Awareness of Design Principles.
- Video, Portfolio and Personal Interaction: Duration of the exam will be 30 minutes worth of 200 marks. It will comprise of Composure, Focus & Clarity, General articulation skills, Depth of thinking, Range of work in Portfolio. Download AIEED Practice Paper
Note: It is important to note that GAT is compulsory for all candidates, while CAT is only for UG students.
The academy offers specialized programs at its two campuses. The main campus is in Jaipur and another campus is at Gurugram. There are certain courses that aren’t offered at the Gurugram Campus and there are a few courses that aren’t conducted at the Jaipur Campus.

AIEED 2023 Marking Scheme
AIEED 2023 exam is for 200 marks. Creative Aptitude Test and General Aptitude Test paper together make up for 200 marks. There are a total number of 45 to 50 questions to be attempted. The question paper is bilingual, i.e. it is in Hindi as well as English. The students have attempting the exams online. Students appearing for online exam can answer their paper in English/Hindi.
There is no negative marking for exams under AIEED 2023. The marks from one question to another may vary depending upon the number of questions asked in the exam. A student on answering a question incorrectly will only lose the marks allotted to that question. No additional marks will be deducted for a wrong answer.

AIEED 2023 Exam Pattern for Undergraduates
AIEED 2023 undergraduate paper is of 200 marks. General Aptitude Test is compulsory to be appeared by all aspirants. General Aptitude Test (GAT) and Creative Aptitude Test (CAT) together are for 200 marks. The exam can be appeared both online and offline.
Every student has the option of appearing the exam in their choice of mode and language. The exam can be appeared online by visiting the listed centers. Online exams can be appeared if the candidate has access to proper equipment’s and a stable Wi-Fi connectivity.

AIEED 2023 Exam Pattern for Post Graduates
Any student who has either completed their graduation or are in their final year can apply for AIEED. The post graduate courses offered by the academy are for two years. The paper pattern is similar to the undergraduate paper pattern.
There are 45-50 set of questions. The total time allotted to appear for GAT is 3 hours and 15 minutes. The question paper is bilingual and can be appeared through online mode. Any student having completed graduation or diploma can apply for AIEED post graduate programs.

Important Instructions for AIEED 2023
Aspirants appearing for AIEED 2023 need to keep the following instructions in mind:
- Students need to constantly check the official websites of the academy and exam for any notifications.
- The exam can appear only in English in the case of online mode.
- The question paper for online mode is bilingual.
- Students appearing for undergrad AIEED 2023 must have completed 16 years of age.
- Students appearing for postgraduate AIEED 2023 must have completed 19 years of age.
- Foreign National and NRI’s can also appear for AIEED exams.
- Students applying for the examination through online mode must keep scanned copies of the required documents handy.
- Within seven days, the result of the online examinations is declared on the official website.
- Only qualified candidates are invited for the interview.
- On being selected, every student, irrespective of the campus they choose need to attend a counseling session/seminar in the Jaipur Campus.
- The final selection is completely based on merit, portfolio, previous exams and interview process.
- There is a limited number of seats for each program.
