AMUEEE Exam Pattern 2023, Syllabus, Marking Scheme and Tips

AMUEEE 2023 (Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Examination) is organized by Aligarh Muslim University every year for admission in B.TECH and B.ARCH degree. The questions are objective type multiple choice question.

  • There are 150 questions, each carrying 1 mark, and time duration is of 3 hours.
  • The three sections cover in AMUEEE 2023 are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Candidates opting for B.Arch course have to appear for 2 papers. Paper 1 is same for both B.Tech and B.Arch candidates.
  • Paper 2 is Architecture Aptitude Test.

AMUEEE 2023 Exam Pattern in Detail

AMUEEE 2023 is conducted for admissions to B.Tech and B.Arch courses. The exam is conducted for the time period of 180 minutes for B.tech while 120 minutes for B.Arch. The exam pattern for each course has been defined below in detail. Check the details of AMUEEE 2023 Exam Pattern below:

For B.Tech

  • For BTech/BE course, there will be an objective question paper.
  • The total number of questions will be 150.
  • Each question will carry 1 mark.
  • The duration of the entrance test will be of 3 hours.
  • The question paper will have three sections comprising questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of class 12 level.

For B.Arch 

  • There will be two papers of AMUEEE for admission to Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) course.
  • Paper 1 will be the same for the B.Tech candidates.
  • Paper 2 is designed for testing the aptitude of the candidate in architecture (Architecture Aptitude Test).
  • Both the papers carry equal weightage.
  • Candidates opting for architecture course should appear for both the papers.
  • Questions will be of descriptive type. Candidates will have to appear for drawing test.

AMUEEE 2023 Marking Scheme

  • There is a total of 150 questions in AMUEEE Paper-I
  • Each question will carry 1 mark.
  • The question paper will be of 150 marks.
  • The question paper will comprise three sections: Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
  • Each section will be of 50 marks.
  • No marks will be deducted for wrong answer.

AMUEEE 2023 Important Instructions

The candidates should read the following instructions carefully to know more about AMUEEE 2023:

  • Answers should be given on the OMR answer sheet for the offline entrance paper.
  • All questions of AMUEEE are multiple choice questions.
  • Candidates should read the instructions carefully before proceeding to answer.
  • Aspirants have to mark the correct answers on the OMR answer sheet.
  • Use blue or black ink ball point only to mark the OMR sheet.
  • Mark the circle completely.
  • If the OMR sheet is in a defective state, contact your invigilator before the start of the exam.
  • Do not mark two answers for the same question. In this case, your answer will be considered wrong.
  • For paper 2, candidates should bring their own stationery items.
