• AP ECET Engineering paper is held in online mode i.e. computer mode.

AP ECET 2023 Marking Scheme

• For each question, four options are provided. You must select the most appropriate option.
• Each question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking in AP ECET 2023.
• Candidates can score up to a total of 200.
• Candidates have to score above minimum qualifying marks to be able to qualify for AP ECET Counselling.

Minimum Qualifying Marks in AP ECET

• Qualifying percentage of marks for AP ECET 2023 is 25% of the maximum marks considered for ranking.
• However, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed.
• But their admission will be limited to the extent of seats reserved for such categories.

Candidates appearing for AP ECET should understand and remember all the aspects of AP ECET Exam Pattern. Here are some important instructions for candidates appearing for the exam. Some points to remember for engineering stream:

• Collegedunia advised students to start with Chemistry section as it consumes less time. The section does not involve heavy calculations and complex problems. If your concepts about basic chemistry is strong and you are well educated about the rules of Organic Chemistry along with formulas of physical chemistry, you will have to invest less time in the section.
• Physics can be a little tricky in AP ECET 2023 at times. However, with clear concepts, you can tackle heavy questions in the section easily. Getting/ Making a handbook that contains important formulas will surely help. It will not only help you remember the basic concepts and formulas but with regular practice.
• Mathematics is considered the toughest section of all as mentioned earlier. It is advisable to divide the topics into three parts as mentioned above. You can divide the topics into sections

1. I am best at these
2. Okay. I need a little practice for these
3. I am very bad at it.

• Dividing topics as per your strength would help you strategize your preparation in a monotonous and healthy manner. Writing important formulae, squares, cubes over the wall of your study table will help you revise in your subconscious every time you look at those.
