APICET 2023 Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme, Syllabus and Books

AP ICET 2023 Exam Pattern: APICET 2023 for MBA and MCA programs will be carried out in online mode. All the questions will be objective type in nature, to be completed within 150 minutes. This year, Sri Venkateswara University is expected to schedule AP ICET 2023 in the 1st  week of May 2023.

The question paper will be divided into three sections viz.

  • Section A – Mathematical Ability
  • Section B – Analytical Ability
  • Section C – Communication Ability

The exam will be of 200 marks and one mark will be awarded to each correct answer. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers and no marks for not attempted questions.

AP ICET Exam Pattern 2023 in Details

Most of the entrance tests for admission into MBA courses check the student’s problem-solving and analytical skills. AP ICET 2023 exam is a test to measure the candidate’s ability to think systematically, to use his/her verbal and communication skills, and to evaluate his/her general aptitude. Candidates can obtain a maximum of 200 marks by solving the 200 questions given in the paper.

AP ICET Exam Pattern: Section-wise Weightage

Each section in the paper has important topics that must be covered first. They are as follows:

Section A: Analytical Ability

Many questions are from Venn Diagrams and Graph interpretation. Be sure to polish these topics.

Basics questions are asked from Business contexts and Reading comprehension. Out of 10, 6 are easy for computer terminology and Vocabulary.

AP ICET Marking Scheme 2023

The candidate is awarded one mark for every correct answer. A total of 200 questions is to be answered by a student.

  • Each question carries 1 mark.
  • Correct answers yield one mark to the student.
  • There is no negative marking in the APICET exam for incorrect answers.
  • No marks are given if the question is not attempted.
  • If a candidate marks more than one option in any question, the question is ignored. No marks are given.
  • There are no special types of questions.
  • No special marking for different subjects or topics is there.

AP ICET Syllabus 2023

Knowing the exam’s syllabus helps the students in the preparation as well as in the time management during the exam. You can pre-plan your time and work according to the planned timetable. The syllabus for AP ICET does not contain any core academic subjects rather it includes subjects like Analytical ability, Mathematics, Verbal communication, and reading. The level of the questions is of the 12th standard examination and a little higher.

APICET 2023: Important Instructions

Candidates appearing for the APICET 2023 will be given an Optical Mark Reader (OMR) answer sheet to mark their responses to the questions. The candidates must follow the instructions given below to avoid their answers sheet becoming invalid. Read the examination instructions properly written on the very first page of the AP ICET 2023 question paper.

  • Go through the marking scheme given in the instructions.
  • Carry your APICET admit card and Aadhar card. – Download now!
  • Candidates have to mark their answers in the provided OMR sheet.
  • Darken the appropriate bubbles carefully.
  • Candidates can only use a black or blue ballpoint pen to darken the circles.
  • Do not use an HB pencil under any circumstances.
  • Do not write or make any mark on the OMR sheet.
  • Do not fold or damage your question paper.
