Assam CEE 2022 Cut Off - Previous Year, Category & College Wise Cut Off

Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech courses have to meet the Assam CEE 2022 cutoff determined by the competent authority. Each of the participating institutes will have their own category and course-specific cutoff. The cut off for the General category is around 100 – 110 and has been more or less the same over the years. Candidates who meet the cutoff will be invited for further admission rounds of Assam CEE 2022.

  • The competent authorities will determine Assam CEE cutoff 2022 separately for all the participating institutes.
  • The Assam CEE cutoff will be category and course-specific
  • There will consequently be multiple cutoff lists
  • Reserved category candidates who meets cutoff of different lists will be included in the merit list of all corresponding categories
  • The cut off being the minimum marks required for admission, any one not meeting the cutoff marks will be no longer considered for Assam CEE seat allotment.

Assam CEE 2019 was conducted in the month of June 2019. It is a portal through which about 4,500 seats are filled in the government and private engineering colleges. Students who secure more than 120 marks will most definitely get admission into the top 3 government colleges. The category wise expected cut off for the academic year 2022 is given below:

Factors Affecting Assam CEE Cut Off

Cut Off is designed by DTE, Assam and is finalized after the final draft of results is made. A number of factors affect the cut off. These are mentioned below-

  • Total number of applicants who qualify the exam and are eligible for Assam CEE Counselling 2022.
  • Level of difficulty of exam
  • Aggregate marks obtained by students
  • Cut off of previous years
  • Total number of available seats across all colleges and institutes
  • Reservation of seats applicable as per norms of conducting body
  • Reputation of college/ institute
  • Course or stream of engineering chosen

All these factors will determine Assam CEE 2022 Cut Off. If the performance of all candidates is good then the cut off will be high. Similarly, a larger number of applicants will also cause the cut off to increase.
