Assam PAT 2023 Counselling: DTE, Assam is going to release Assam PAT 2023 result after the conclusion of the exam. Participated candidates will be able to check the result at dte.assam.gov.in. DTE is expected to start the counselling process in August 2023. Candidates who successfully completed Assam PAT Counselling 2023 registration are able to check the allotment list from the official website - dte,assam.gov.in. Candidates have to enter their Assam PAT 2023 roll number and date of birth to check the seat allotment result.
The seat allotment lists are released on the official website per the availability of vacant seats. Candidates who will be allotted the seats have to submit Acceptance Letter before the due date. Upon publication of seat allocation, candidates have to send the acceptance letter in the specified format in order to obtain the final allocation of the institution and the branch. Only those candidates who accept admission within a defined time will be considered for further upgradation of their choice of institution and branch in further rounds of Assam PAT counseling 2023.

Here are a few steps to check results for the entrance exam-
- Log onto the official website i.e. dte.assam.gov.in
- Search for the option of Polytechnic Admission Test.
- Click on PAT 2023 RESULTS. You will be redirected to the result portal.
- Enter your valid Roll. Number in the box given.
- Your result will appear on the screen. Download and save it for future reference.
Assam PAT 2023 Counselling
Assam PAT 2023 counseling process will be conducted in 7 rounds based on the vacancy of seats. Candidates who manage to score marks on the merit list will be called for counseling. Candidates need to apply online for the counseling process by filling the counseling form for all the stages.

ASSAM PAT 2023 Counselling Procedure
First Round of Counselling-
Directorate of Technical Education Assam displays information related to the counseling process. Students need to fill the online counseling application form. Candidates can access the form by following the given steps-
- Log on to the official website of Directorate of Technical Education dte.assam.gov.in
- Click on Assam PAT 2023 option from the list at the left
- Click on PAT 2023 1st Round Counselling Application Form.
- As the application form appears, fill in all the details in part 1that are asked and Click the Submit button.
- Download the form and save it as it is very important for the next round
Second Round of Counselling-
Candidates who score eligible marks in PAT 2023 will be called for a Personal Interview as per program is given for respective categories for final selection and admission at the premises of Assam Engineering Institute, Chandmari
All the candidates appearing for Assam PAT 2023 counseling must bring with them the following documents-
- Part B Form formerly and properly filled in.
- Original Mark sheets
- Three copies of recent passport size photographs
- All relevant certificates including Admit Card of PAT 2023 for scrutiny by the interview board.
Third Round of Counselling-
The 3rd round will be a seat allotment process of the candidates according to their past performance in the other 2 rounds. This will include verification of the documents/Testimonials/Tuition/Admission Fee at the reporting Polytechnic Institute to the affiliated institution.
Several things should be taken care of while you go for ASSAM PAT 2023 counseling. Some of them are listed below-
- Candidate appearing for the counseling without Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) will not be allowed to take admission even after clearing PAT 2023. Candidates are requested to keep their PRC well in advance.
- A certificate of Principal Secretary, Private Secretary to the chief minister of Assam, or a direct relationship certificate of the candidate with the freedom fighter from Deputy Commissioner or his authorized official is required if a candidate applies to the category of son/daughter of a freedom fighter.
- Son/Daughter of retired defense Personnel must have a certificate from the director Rajyik Sainik Board, Assam.
- For students of Moran Community requires a certificate issued by Assam Moran Sobha with the countersignature of deputy commissioner/sub-divisional officer civil of concern district.
- Differently abled candidate requires identity card as differently able and identified a certificate from the State level/District level medical board as constituted in pursuance of the social welfare department. Minimum disability is 40% and not exceeding 80%
- Sports and NCC certificates as per the candidate’s game and other required document related to it.

Assam PAT 2023 Merit List
Allotment of all the courses after the exam is done based on Assam PAT 2023 merit list prepared by DTE Assam. Assam PAT 2023 Merit list will be prepared based on marks scored only. There is a possibility of a tie between the two candidates in this case student with more Index marks will be given priority.
There are a few factors which influence Assam PAT 2023 Merit list prepared by the authority holders. Here are a few factors affecting the Merit List-
- Number of students that will appear for the entrance test.
- Marks scored by the candidates.
- Difficulty level of examination
