ATMA 2023 Eligibility: Check Program-wise Eligibility & Reservation Criteria

ATMA 2023 Eligibility Criteria is set by the official authority of the examination– AIMS. Candidates having Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in 10+2+3 scheme are eligible to apply for the exam. Final year candidates can also apply, provided they score minimum 50% marks in their qualifying examination. Students can fill ATMA 2023 Application Form from December 26, 2022. The last date to fill the application form is February 18, 2023. 

  • There are no reservation rules prescribed by AIMS. However, individual colleges may offer seats to reserved category candidates. 
  • No Upper age limit and work experience is mandated to appear for AIMS Test for Management Admissions
  • Only Indian Nationals can apply for the exam. Also, there is no domicile restriction. 

ATMA is conducted five times a year by The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). The examination offers admission to PGDM/ MBA/ MCA/ PGCM courses. ATMA 2023 Eligibility: Basic Qualification

The following educational eligibility criteria must be satisfied by the candidates applying online for ATMA 2023:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification level under 10+2+3 scheme in any of the following stream:
    1. B.A.,
    2. B.Sc.,
    3. B.Com,
    4. B.Tech, from any University recognized by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
  • Final year students can also apply for the management exam.
  • Colleges accepting ATMA Score admit students with minimum of 50% aggregate marks in graduation or any equivalent degree.
  • The percentage criterion may vary for various Management Institutes or Universities.
  • Candidates in their final year of graduation can show their last semester scores.
ATMA Program Wise Eligibility

AIMS, the Association of Indian Management Schools, administers AIMS Test for Management Admission for selection to MBA, PGDM, PGDBA, MCA* (subject to local Regulations), and other postgraduate management courses. About 200 high-ranking institutions accept ATMA Scores. Given below is the program-wise eligibility for ATMA exam:

ATMA Eligibility: MBA Program

  • Nationality: All Candidates belonging to Indian nationality are eligible to apply for the ATMA i.e. only citizens of India can apply for the exam.
  • Age Criteria: The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years. There is no upper age restriction for applying to ATMA 2023.
  • Selection Criteria for MBA:
  1. Percentage in the qualifying course
  2. Entrance Exam Score/Percentile
  3. Personal Interview

ATMA Eligibility: PGDM Program

  • Nationality: All Candidates belonging to Indian nationality can apply for ATMA.
  • Age Criteria: The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years. There is no upper age restriction for applying the ATMA.

ATMA Eligibility: MCA Program

  • Qualification: For admission in MCA, a candidate must have score minimum of 50% marks in BCA. Candidates in the final year of BCA can also apply for the exam.
  • Age Criteria: The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years. There is no upper age restriction for applying to ATMA.
  • Nationality: Only candidates of Indian nationality can apply for the ATMA Exam.
  • No. of Attempts: There is no restriction on the number of attempts.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Usha & Lakshmi Mittal Institute of Management (BULMIM) General candidates with 50 percent and reserved candidates with 45 percent marks in graduation can apply. candidates those in the final year of their graduation are aslo eligible. 
IIHMR University

Candidates with 50 percent marks in graduation can apply. Work experience is given preference. 

Institute of Management Study (IMS) Any graduate candidates with a valid score in  ATMA exam can apply. 
St Francis Institute of Management and Research (SFIMAR) Candidates with 50 percent in graduation who cleared ATMA Exam can apply.
ATMA Reservation Criteria

ATMA Reservation Criteria 2023

  • ATMA follows no reservation rules defined by AIMS.
  • Concession in Fees is available for:
    - For Women: 25% Concession in Fees
    - For North Eastern States of India: 50% Concession in Fees
  • No concession in fees for SC/ST or OBC category students. 
  • The participating institutes might have their own reservation standards, in this case, candidates need to write about the category in ATMA Application Form.
  • No subsequent application to claim reserved seats will be entertained later.

Candidates belonging to Backward Class categories will be required to submit:

  • Caste Certificate
  • Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate

Apply for ATMA 2023

ATMA Application Form 2023

ATMA Registration can be done via online mode only. To apply online, candidates can register at atmaims.com. Here’s how you can fill ATMA Application Form in online mode:

  1. Visit the official website and click on “Click here to register for ATMA”. 
  2. Enter complete details viz. Full name, Correct Email ID, Mobile Number and Date of Birth in the Online Fee Payment form to register.
  3. Pay the requisite application fee.
  4. After successful registration for ATMA, PID (Personal Identification Number) will be sent on your registered email id.
  5. Login using PID and fill ATMA Application Form.
  6. Candidates willing to apply for ATMA must visit atmaaims.in and pay INR 1298 (INR 1100 + 18% GST) as registration fee.
  7. The fee can be remitted via online mode only viz. debit/credit card. Registration fee is not refundable or transferable to other tests under any circumstances.

Note: While filling ATMA Application Form, candidates will be required to choose any 5 institutes on the basis of ATMA Scores. AIMS will then send these scores to the respective colleges. More than 700 colleges will be accepting the scores of ATMA. Further, these colleges will carry out their own eligibility and selection processes for the selection of candidates.
