BIHAR ITICAT 2023 Exam Pattern, Syllabus, Important Instructions

Bihar ITICAT 2023 exam pattern comprises multiple choice objective type questions related to 3 subjects: Mathematics, General Science, and General Knowledge. BIHAR ITICAT (Bihar Industrial Training Institute Common Admission Test) is a state-level test for admission to Industrial Training Institutes in Bihar. It is an offline mode of exam. BIHAR ITICAT 2023 will be held in the month of June 2023.

  • Each section has 50 questions and each section carries 100 marks. 
  • BIHAR ITICAT  2023 question paper carries 150 questions, the total marks of which is 300.
  • The exam duration is of 2 hours 15 minutes.
  • There is no negative marking.
  • The exam will be held in both English and Hindi languages.

BIHAR ITICAT 2023 Admit Cards will be released a week before the commencement of the exam. It can be downloaded from the official website after being released.

Bihar ITICAT 2023 will consist of a single question paper. The question paper will be an objective type multiple choice question paper.

  • The duration of exam will be 2.15 hours.
  • The exam paper will be of two languages: English and Hindi.
  • The difficulty level of the question paper will be of 10th standard.
  • The paper will comprise questions from three subjects: Mathematics, General Knowledge, and General Science.

Marking scheme

  • BIHAR ITICAT  2023 question paper will contain total 150 questions.
  • Total marks of Bihar ITICAT will be of 300 marks.
  • Each question will carry 2 marks.
  • There will be no provision of negative marking in the exam.

Candidates must prepare themselves for the entrance paper as per the syllabus given. The difficulty of the exam is of class 10 level. Hence, the candidates must be thorough with the syllabus of class 10 for Mathematics and Science. The detailed BIHAR ITICAT 2023 syllabus is as given below: -

Important Instructions

BIHAR ITICAT 2023 Important Instructions

Students appearing for BIHAR ITICAT 2023 should prepare for their exam following the class 10 syllabus of the state board. It is an offline mode of examination, where in the candidates have to answer questions on an OMR answer sheet.

  • Candidates must follow the instructions given on the OMR sheet.
  • They should use blue/black ball point pen to answer the questions.
  • Fill all the details/particulars at the back of the answer sheet carefully and correctly using blue/black ball point pen.
  • Students need to put their signature at the requisite place. If the signature is not given, the answer sheet won’t be considered as a valid one. 
  • They should mark a single answer from the four options given.
  • In case if a candidate gives 2 answers for the same question, the answer will be considered wrong.
  • Also, candidates should mark the circles in the OMR sheet prominently.
