BVP CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

BVP Deemed University has set eligibility criteria separately for each course. Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for the BVP CET 2023. Below we have individually detailed the eligibility criteria for each course.

BVP CET 2023 Eligibility for Medical 

• It is necessary for all the candidates to complete their 17 years of age before or on December 31^st, 2021.
• Candidates must qualify Higher Secondary and Senior Secondary education i.e. 10+2 before applying for BVP CET 2023.
• Minimum 50% marks (for SC/ST/OBC/ 40% marks) in PCB or Biotechnology in 10+2 are mandatory.
• For the candidates who apply for BHMS have to qualify 10+2 individually in PCB and English as well as must-have secured at least 50% marks (for SC/ST 40 % marks) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology considered together.
• Candidates who apply for BAMS have to qualify 12^th and have secured at least 50% marks (for SC/ST 40 % marks) in PCB.

BVP CET 2023 Eligibility for Engineering

• Candidate must qualify Higher Secondary Certificate, Senior Secondary Certificate from any board. 
•  It is mandatory for all the candidates who have applied for the engineering course to qualify Senior Secondary examination with PCM including Biology/biotechnology/ and other optional subjects.
• Candidates have to secure at least 45% marks (40% marks for ST/SC/OBC) in Class 12^th board examination.

BVP CET 2023 Eligibility for BCA 

• Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks (for SC/ST it is 40% marks) in their degree course.
• Candidate of any age group may apply for BVP CET 2023.
• It is compulsory that the candidate must be an Indian citizen.

BVP CET 2023 Eligibility for MCA 

• Candidate of any age group may apply for BVP CET 2023.
• Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks (for SC/ST it is 40% marks) in their degree course.
• It is mandatory for all the candidates who have applied for MCA (Full Time) to have a Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years in any discipline and must have Mathematics in 12^th or in graduation.
• Students who have applied for MCA (lateral entry) must possess a Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years with Mathematics in 12^th or graduation.

BVP CET 2023 Eligibility for Dental Course (PG) 

• The student must be of Indian Nationality.
• The aspirant must have qualified a Bachelor Degree i.e. BDS from any reputed college.
• The candidate must have at least 1 year of the internship experience.
• It is mandatory for all the candidates to permanently register themselves at any State Dental Council or at Dental Council of India.
• It is compulsory for all the candidates to obtain at least 50% marks (for SC/ST it is 40% marks) in DENPET 2023.

BVP CET 2023 Eligibility for Medical Course (PG)

• Students of Indian Nationality can apply for BVP CET 2023.
• It is compulsory for all the candidates to obtain at least 50% marks (for SC/ST it is 40% marks) in MEDPET 2023.
• It is mandatory for all the appearing candidates to qualify MBBS examination from any recognized Medical College.
• Candidates are required to have 1-year internship experience while applying for BVP CET 2023.
• It is mandatory for all the candidates to permanently register themselves with any State Medical Council or at Medical Council of India.
• If any aspirant has completed his/her MBBS from any university in abroad that is recognized by MCI, he must have also possessed 1-year internship experience in any reputed Medical College in India.
