Ques. How do I prepare for the entrance exam to get admission to an interior design UG course at CEPT?

● Top Answer By Anjali Dahiya on 18 Jan 21

Try to improve your sketching skill, aptitude, and creativity. In the examination hall, look at what everybody is doing on a particular question and try something different in your answers. Make your answer sheet look unique and do not hesitate to speak in the interview. Be confident and don't take too much time to think. Say whatever comes to your mind first because response time does matter.  The examination pattern is as follows.  Examination Type  State-level CEPT Application Mode Online CEPT Entrance Examination Mode Offline pen paper-based test Official Website http:/www.cept.ac.in Exam Duration  2 hours Total Marks  200 Marking Scheme  No negative marking Exam Fees  500 One of my friends was called for an interview at CEPT, and he was asked the following questions. Prepare for the CEPT entrance exam with aptitude, logical reasoning, basic knowledge, and orientation towards architecture. Instead of typical preparation, try to be creative....Read more

Ques. Is there any entrance exam for construction management at CEPT?

● Top Answer By Purvi Sharma on 18 Jan 21

Construction management (CEM) is a part of the faculty of technology at Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT) University.  Discussed below are a few things that you need to know about the CEPT examination.  The university has a common entrance test for getting into the faculty of technology of all courses. It includes general aptitude and the entrance exam does not have any negative marking scheme.  It is not that difficult to clear the entrance exam if studied well.  After the examination is over and the results are out, the candidates are shortlisted according to the merit list for the interview based on their preferences.  If you have qualified for the GATE examination then the entrance exam for CEPT is not required. The examination is quite simple. Also, the syllabus is the same. CEPT is a great option to pursue Construction Engineering. The course is good and offers exposure to subjects like contracts, planning, scheduling, BIM, etc. This course is one of the best in the Faculty and Technology Department.  The institute offers great exposure and has a decent placement record....Read more
