CG PET 2022: Counselling Registration for CG PET 2022 has commenced on the official website- cgdteraipur.cgstate.gov.in. Candidates can now register for CG PET 2022 Counselling for Phase II in online mode till September 28, 2022. Candidates are required to register, fill their choices, pay fees and verify the documents during the counseling process for CG PET 2022. CG PET 2022 Seat Allotment Result for Round 2 will be declared on October 1, 2022.
Chhatisgarh Professional Examination Board had released CG PET 2022 Result at vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. The result was released along with the final answer key. CG PET 2022 Result contains the details about the marks and ranks secured by the candidate. Authorities will prepare a Merit List on the basis of CG PET 2022 Result. Separate merit lists will be released for CG PET and JEE Main qualified candidates as B.Tech admissions in Chhattisgarh are on the basis of JEE and CG PET.
As per CG PET 2022 Exam Pattern, there are a total of 150 objective-type questions in the exam. CGPET 2022 paper has four options for each question. So, for every correct answer, students are awarded 1 mark. The questions in the paper are comprised of subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Physics.
What is CG PET? Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test (CGPET 2022) is conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB). CGPET 2022 Eligibility
The common eligibility criteria for all courses are:
- Applicant must be a citizen of India
- The applicant should be a resident of Chhattisgarh and should have a domicile in the state.
There are 3 courses that are offered. The eligibility criteria for different courses are given below:
For Engineering:
- Candidates must have cleared 12th grade from a school affiliated with Chhattisgarh or equivalent board.
- The student must qualify in Physics, chemistry, mathematics, and one of the technical vocational subjects in the qualifying exam.
- Minimum marks for the general category are 45% an40% for the reserved category(SC/ST/OBC/PH)
For Agricultural Engineering:
- Candidates must be above 16 years of age on 31st December of the admission year.
- He/she must have cleared 12th grade from a school affiliated with Chhattisgarh or equivalent board.
- Minimum marks for the general category are 50%(PCM+ English) an40% for the reserved category(SC/ST/OBC/PH)
- Candidates appearing for final exams are also eligible to apply for the exam.
For Dairy Technology:
- Candidate must be above 17 years of age on 31st December 2022
- Applicant must have cleared 12th grade from school affiliated to Chhattisgarhi or equivalent board.
- Minimum marks for the general category are 50%(PCM+ English) an40% for the reserved category(SC/ST/OBC/PH)
- Candidates appearing for final exams are also eligible to apply for the exam.
CGPET 2022 Application Form
Applicants have to fill out the application form online. Firstly, candidates have to visit the official website and search for the “CGPET 2022 admission” link.
- Click and Download the CGPET 2022 Application Form.
- Fill in the required details.
- After successfully filling out the application form, applicants can get their registration ID number for the exam.
- Applicants now have to upload their passport size photograph (4.5*3.5cm), thumb impression, and signature in JPEG format. The size of the file should not exceed be 50kb and 40kb minimum
- To finish the registration process, the payment needs to be done. The application fee can be paid by credit card /debit card, net banking or Bank challan of SBI Bank.
- Candidates have to enter their valid Aadhar no. /PAN card no. /A/C no. /Driving License No. in the application form.
- Once applicant has submitted the duly filled application form, no changes will be allowable in the application form. Therefore, fill in the form very carefully.
- Candidates can also track their application through the login window by entering their login details.
- There is no need to send the application form to the exam conducting body.

CGPET 2022 Admit Card
CGPET 2022 Admit Card will be available online on the official website of CG Vyapam. It will be available once the application process completes for download. Admit card will not be delivered to candidate via courier or post services. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without admit card.
Steps to Download Admit Card
- Firstly, visit the official website
- Use the application number and password to log in.
- Locate the “Admit card” tab.
- Click on the tab
- The admit card will get opened in a separate screen and can be downloaded from here.
Candidates will have to bring one photo ID proof (driving license/ voter ID /PAN card/Aadhar card or any other govt. ID) in which the photo of the applicant is attached and clearly visible, along with the admit card.
Exam Centers
A total 27 exam centers will be finalized for the entrance test. The exam will be conducted in June, 2022, in several districts of the state of Chhattisgarh. The test centers are allocated on first cum first serve basis. It is a very rare condition when candidate is allocated a test center other than his preferred test center. The university however takes no request for change of exam centers.
CGPET 2022 Exam Pattern
CG PET 2022 entrance exam is a 3 hour online based exam.
- It contains 150 questions from 3 topics namely Physics, chemistry and Mathematics.
- One mark is awarded for every correct answer and there is no negative marking.
- Attempting all the 150 questions is compulsory.

CGPET 2022 Counselling
CGPET 2022 counseling procedure will be started tentatively from July 2022 for JEE Mains qualifying candidates and August 2022 for CGPET qualifying candidates has started for JEE Mains qualifying candidates and state quota qualifying candidates. No call letter is sent to the applicant individually. The Counselling is held online. Candidates need to register online for CGPET Counselling procedure at Directorate of Technical Education website. . After registering, they need to fill the options of colleges according to their choice and rank. The seat will be allotted on the basis of options filled by candidates and availability of seat.
Documents Required for Counselling
(a) All mark sheets/grade reports and certificates, Original of Class X and XII, Transfer Certificate, Leaving Certificate and Character Certificate from School.
(b) In case a candidate belongs to SC, ST or non-creamy layer of OBC categories, Original caste Certificate as per Central Govt. is required.
(c) Medical Certificate should be presented if candidate is Physically Challenged (PC). It should be issued by Medical Officer of any Government Hospital with description of the kind and the degree of disability.
(d) In case the Date of Birth is not mentioned in Class X Certificate, Date of Birth (DOB) Certificate is required for the same.
(e) Original e- Admit Card, Counselling letter from ICAR should also be present with candidate.
(f) Three recent and clear passport size colored photographs need to be submitted. They should have candidates name and date mentioned at the back.
(g) Domicile certificate.
(h) Authority letter/undertaking in the prescribed format (Annexure-III of IB), if the applicant is incapable of attending the Counselling personally.
CGPET 2022 Result
CGPET 2022 Result will be announced in the form of merit of Merit List for State Quota candidates and while AIQ admission will be done through JEE Main. The results are uploaded on their official website and can be checked from there. The results declared are on the basis of the cut-off list.
If a student does not meet the cutoff list declaration, the student will not be qualified for Counselling. A separate merit list will be prepared by the exam conducting committee and posted on the official website. There is no provision for re-evaluation of answer sheets.

CG PET 2022 Answer key
Applicants can download the answer key after a few days of the examination. The answer keys will be published in July 2022 (tentatively). The answer keys are uploaded on the website by the exam conducting body. Candidate can claim the answer in case any answer in the answer key is incorrect.
CGPET 2020 Cut off
Cutoff list is provided by the conducting body. It determines the minimum marks required to appear in the merit list.
Factors affecting the cutoff:
