CLAT 2022 Counselling is conducted by the Consortium of NLUs, through a centralised process for candidates who are invited for the counselling. Candidates whose name appears in CLAT merit list and secure CLAT Cut Off will be eligible to appear in CLAT 2022 Counselling. CLAT 2022 will be conducted on June 19, 2022 in offline mode. The counselling procedure of CLAT 2022 is expected to be done via an online centralized system. It is conducted separately for UG and PG programs. The entire process will be done as per the CLAT Exam Dates created by the conducting authorities.
The stepwise procedure for final admissions to the 22 NLUs is as follows:
Once the results and merit lists are published to shortlist candidates for the final admissions, they will be available on the official website. On merit-cum-preference basis of CLAT 2022 scores, the first list for CLAT counselling will be declared after the publishing of results.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to register for their preferred NLUs through the official website. Candidates are required to select a minimum of five preferred colleges. No changes will be allowed after the last date of submission. The selection must be done by taking into consideration the candidates rank and marks against the seats. Candidates cannot update their college preferences and they will be considered for only those NLUs which they have provided.
After candidates have selected their preferred choices, they should pay the required fees of INR 50,000 to be provisionally selected. Candidates are advised to pay the fees online only, through the login on the official website. Only candidates who participate in the conselling will be considered for the seat allotment process.
After the candidates are registered, the seat allotment lists are published online through the official website. The candidates who have not been allotted a seat will be provided a seat in the upcoming seat allotment lists.
The candidates who have been allotted a seat for their selected college have three options provided for them:
If candidates do not choose any one of the above options by the required date, will not be given admissions.

Ques: Is CLAT 2022 Counselling registration fees refundable?
Ans: CLAT 2022 Counselling registration fees are fully refundable if the candidates withdraws before the counselling is over. Counselling fees are partially refundable is the candidate’s documents are not ineligible or they have forfeited their seats for three rounds.

Ans: There are a total of five round for CLAT 2022 Counselling sessions. Candidates should be allotted a seat by the fifth round of counselling.

Ans: Candidates can withdraw from CLAT Counselling any time during the process. However, if the candidates withdraw from a seat after the last date of counselling, there will be a particular amount that will be deducted when refunding.

Ans: Candidates can change their preferred NLU till the last date of CLAT Counselling registration. After that no changes will be allowed.
