How to download CMAT 2022 Provisional Answer Key?

The release of provisional answer keys is important for the candidates as it will be the deciding factor for the calculation of final CMAT marks. The provisional answer key is released within a few days of the conduct of the examination. Candidates can challenge and raise objections if they find any answer is not correct. 

It must be noted that there shall be a prescribed time period during which the answer key can be challenged. After this, the official authorities will clarify and release the official result of CMAT. 

The following steps can be followed to download the answer key of CMAT 2022 after its release on the official website. 

• Step 1: Visit the official site of CMAT 2022 by NTA. The website link has not yet been released as the exam date notification is to be released in the month of November. 
• Step 2: The login details need to be entered in the link given on the official website. The login credentials will be the registration number and the password created at the time of filling out the application form. 
• Step 3: Then the next step after putting in the login credentials is to enter the security pin. 
• Step 4: Once the security pin has been entered, candidates will notice that the screen will display two types of options. The two options will be 
  • Click to challenge answer key
  • View question paper 
• Step 5: For viewing the answer key and simultaneously challenging the answer key, candidates need to choose the first option which is 'Click to challenge answer key'. Once clicked, the site will automatically lead to the page of the release of the answer key. 
• Step 6: The screen will now depict the answer key and candidates can match/ verify the responses.

How to download CMAT 2022 Question Paper?

CMAT Question Paper can be downloaded from the official website of CMAT 2022. Follow the given steps to download the question paper. 

• Step 1: The official link of the CMAT has to be clicked for downloading the question paper. The link will be released after the authority finalizes it. 
• Step 2: Candidates will see the tab of 'View Question Paper'. This tab needs to click then. 
• Step 3: After choosing this tab, candidates need to enter their login credentials. They can choose one of the two :
  • Application number and password
  • Application number and date of birth 
• Step 4: After putting in the required login credentials, the CMAT application form will open. 
• Step 5: At the end of the application form, candidates can see a tab of 'View Question Paper' that must be clicked. 
• Step 6: After clicking this tab, the question paper of CMAT 2022 along with the candidate responses will be downloaded. Both these documents will be downloaded in PDF format. 
• Step 7: It is advisable to download and save the question paper and responses of CMAT 2022 for future reference.

Steps to Challenge CMAT 2022 Answer Key 

Candidates can challenge the provisional CMAT 2022 answer key. For raising objections in the answer key, candidates must follow the given steps. For challenging the answer key, the most pertinent thing is to give verified documents in response to the incorrect answer and payment of fees for the same. For every answer challenged, candidates, need to pay 1000/- per answer. 

• Step 1: In case of a discrepancy in the answer key, candidates can raise objections to the answer key. 
• Step 2: Candidates need to mark against the option they feel is incorrect. There is an option to mark and choose the incorrect option. 
• Step 3: After choosing the answer, candidates need to choose the option of 'Save your claims'. It will automatically save the preference of the answer chosen by candidates. 
• Step 4: After this, a window will open where candidates need to upload the documents in support of the correct claims. Basically, candidates need to furnish concerning documents claiming against the given incorrect answer. 
• Step 5: After giving proper documents and proof, candidates will be directed to the page where they need to pay the fees. Click on the tab of 'Save claim and pay the fee'. 
• Step 6: Payment of 1000/- per answer has to be made through an online payment mode. Candidates can choose the following methods to complete the payment procedure:

  • Net Banking

How to Calculate CMAT 2022 Score?

Candidates can calculate their CMAT raw scores based on the answer key downloaded by them. For this they need to be aware of the marking scheme mentioned in the table below:

So for example, in General Awareness section, a candidate has attempted 21 questions out of which 15 are correct and 6 are wrong, then his total score in this section will be:

(15*4) – 6 = 54

Similarly, candidates can calculate their score for all sections and add them to arrive at the total CMAT Score.
