CUET PG 2023 Eligibility Criteria

As per CUET PG 2023 Eligibility Criteria, there is no age limit for the candidates. Candidates who have passed the bachelor's degree/ equivalent examination or appearing in 2023 can appear in CUET (PG) 2023 examination. CUET PG 2023 Reservations

By knowing CUET 2023 reservation criteria, candidates get to know various benefits of the reservation including comparatively lower application fees, cutoff marks, and also the course/admission fees. Indian nationals belonging to certain categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them in accordance with the rules prescribed by the Government of India. The categories and the reservation are tabulated below:

Documents Required to Claim CUET PG 2023 Reservation

For GEN-EWS category candidates: GEN-EWS certificate will be required at the time of counseling which should have been issued on or after 01 January 2023 in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India.

For OBC-NCL category candidates: OBC-NCL certificate will be required at the time of counseling which should have been issued on or after 01 January 2023 in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India.

For SC/ST category candidates: Caste (for SC) or tribe (for ST) certificate will be required at the time of counselling which is in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India.

CUET PG Application Form

CUET PG 2023 Application Form

The application form for CUET PG 2023 is now available online on the official website. Candidates have to follow the steps provided below to fill out CUET PG 2023 Application Form.

Step 1: Registration Form: Register for the online application form and note down the system-generated Application Number. The candidate should supply the required details while filling the Online Application Form and is also required to create a password and choose a security question and enter his/her Answer. This application number will also be used for both Sessions of CUET (PG) 2023.

Step 2: Application Form: Candidates can log in with the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password for completing the Application Form including filling up personal details, applying for the Paper, choosing the Examination Cities, providing the details of Educational Qualifications, and uploading the images and documents (if any). The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb and the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.

Step 3: Fee Payment: After completing Step 1 and Step 2, candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee. The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator. The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate.

CUET PG 2023 application process will be considered incomplete without successful fee payment. CUET PG 2023 Application fee differs as per the candidate’s category.

CUET PG Admit Card

CUET PG 2023 Admit Card

CUET PG 2023 Admit Card will be released as an e-Admit Card on the official website of NTA. To download the admit card candidates need to log in using their application number. Candidates will be required to appear in the examination at the given CUET PG 2023 exam center on the date and shift/timing as indicated in the e-Admit Card.

In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signature shown on the e-Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the candidate may immediately approach the NTA Help Line between 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. In such a case, the candidate would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later.

The most prerequisite thing to do before appearing in a competitive examination is the exam pattern. A brief explanation of CUET PG 2023 Exam Pattern is given below.

Mode of Exam: CUET PG 2023 exam will be conducted as a computer-based test mode.

Medium of Exam: CUET (PG) 2023 will be conducted in English and Hindi (Bilingual) except for language and Sahitya papers

Duration of Exam: Each paper will be conducted for 2 hours.

Types of Questions: CUET PG 2023 question paper consists of multiple-choice questions.

CUET PG 2023 Exam Pattern: Points to Remember

  • Candidates can apply for ONLY ONE COURSE IN A SLOT.
  • Each question paper will have 100 Questions.
  • The candidate has to choose English or Hindi for General Paper.
  • For PGQP08, PGQP60 and PGQP74, and PGQP78 only one course can be selected from the drop-down list in the registration form.
  • The entire Question Paper for PGQP05 (English) and PGQP06 (Hindi) would be in only one language.
  • The Question Paper will be in Sanskrit only for Acharya, Shiksha Shastri, and Shiksha Acharya Courses.
  • Further, in the case of Shiksha Shastri and Shiksha Acharya, the entire 100 questions of the question paper would be in the Sanskrit language only.
  • In the case of PGQP60 and PGQP62, concerned language only would be used for the domain knowledge questions i.e. 75 questions.

CUET PG 2023 Marking Scheme

CUET PG 2023 Question Paper comprises 100 questions.

  • Each question carries 04 (four) marks.
  • For each correct response, the candidate will get 04 (four) marks.
  • For each incorrect response, 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the total score.
  • Unanswered/unattempted responses will be given no marks.
