GUJCET 2022 Application Form is released on January 25, 2022. Eligible candidates are able to apply for GUJCET 2022 from January 25, 2022, to February 5, 2022.   • Candidates who have completed their class 10th and 12th from Gujrat and fulfill GUJCET 2022 Eligibility criteria can apply for the exam.  
  • GUJCET 2022 exam will be conducted in online mode for 3 hours. The question paper will be made available in 3 different languages including English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
  • As per GUJCET 2022 Exam Pattern, the question paper will have a total of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question will carry 1 mark and for every incorrect answer, 0.25 mark will be deducted.

General Eligibility:

  • Nationality: Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
  • Residence: Applicant must possess the domicile of Gujarat state.
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing in the last semester of the qualifying exam will be eligible to apply.

Engineering Programme:

  • Qualification: Passed 12th level from any recognized board with Physics and Mathematics subject securing minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).

Pharmacy Programme:

  • Qualification: Passed 12th level from any recognized board with Physics and Chemistry subject securing minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).

Diploma Programme:

GUJCET Application Form

GUJCET 2022 Application Form

GUJCET 2022 application process is conducted online at the official GSEB website gseb.org. No other modes of application are accepted for this purpose. An application fee is also usually involved which must be paid by the candidates for applying to appear in the GUJCET 2022 exam. Read on to find out more in this section.

How to apply for GUJCET 2022?

Submitting online applications for GUJCET 2022 is not a complex process. Candidates can refer to the simple steps provided below to apply online.

  • Step 1: On the homepage of the website gujcet.gseb.org, click on the link for “New User Registration”.
  • Step 2: Now the registration form opens and candidates must fill up the form by providing the correct information only.
  • Step 3: Generate the Login ID and password by completing the registration process.
  • Step 4: Click on the “Login” option on the home page and log in with the credentials generated.
  • Step 5: At this step, complete the payment of the application fee of Rs 300. It can be paid through SBI Epay System using a credit/debit card or internet banking.
  • Step 6: Fill up the application form correctly and upload the necessary scanned document images.

GUJCET Admit Card

GUJCET 2022 Admit Card

GUJCET 2022 admit card will be issued online by GSEB. It is the most vital document to carry on the exam day. Successfully registered candidates downloaded the admit card from the official website. The admit card must be preserved till the admission process gets over.

Steps to Download GUJCET 2022 Admit Card

  • Visit the official website of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar 
  • Click on the ‘board website’.
  • Search for the link that says ‘GUJCET 2022 hall ticket’.
  • Enter your application number and date of birth.
  • Click on the ‘submit’ button.
  • Download the admit card and take its printout.

The information printed on your GUJCET 2022 Admit Card is the Name of the candidate, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Roll Number, Coordinating institution, Venue of the test, Date of test, Paper wise timings, Email ID.

Important Instructions for GUJCET 2022

Candidates must verify if all the details mentioned on the admit card are accurate. They should read the important instructions printed on the back of the admit card so that they don’t violate any of them on the day of examination. Along with the admit card, candidates also need to carry the photocopy of one of the following documents:

  • Voter Card
  • PAN Card
  • Aadhar Card
  • Passport
  • Driving License
  • Employee ID
  • College ID

One of these original documents is required on the day of examination for identity proof.

  • Candidates are advised to reach the examination center exactly at the reporting time mentioned in their GUJCET 2022 Admit Card
  • Social distancing has to be followed and candidates are requested to enter the center in an orderly manner.
  • Masks should be worn by candidates at all times during the examination.
  • Electronic items will not be allowed inside the examination center.
  • Sanitizers will be provided at the centers.

GUJCET 2022 Exam Centers

GUJCET 2022 will be conducted in 34 exam centers, spread throughout the state of Gujarat. While filling the application form, candidates can choose the exam center, according to their convenience from the given list. The allotted exam center will be mentioned on GUJCET 2022 admit card.

Once the exam center is allotted, it can not be altered by the conducting authority. Candidates need to report to the exam center at least 30 minutes before the exam starts. GUJCET 2022 exam centers will be conducted at the following exam centers:

According to the initial student reaction, the Shift 1 GUJCET 2021 exam was reported to be easy to moderate in terms of the level of difficulty while Shift 2 was reported to be a moderate difficulty. 

  • Questions in Physics and Chemistry were majorly 12th based covering all the topics. The weightage of questions from Class 12th topics was more as compared to Class 11th topics.

How to raise objection against GUJCET 2022 Answer Key?

GUJCET 2022 Counseling process comprises various stages such as

Documents Required for GUJCET 2022 Counselling:

The candidate shall submit the self-attested copies of the following documents along with the printout of the registration form at the Help Center, namely:-

  1. S.S.C. Examination (Std. X) Mark-sheet
  2. H.S.C. Examination (Std. XII) Mark-sheet,
  3. GUJCET Mark-sheet,
  4. School Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate,
  5. Caste certificate for a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), issued by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf,
  6. Non Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate of the family, valid as per State Government Rules, by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf,
  7. Certificate of Physical Disability, issued and duly signed by the Civil Surgeon/ competent Medical Authority, in case the candidate is a Physically Handicapped,
  8. Certificate of Ex-Serviceman, duly issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board, Gujarat State or by the District Sainik Welfare Officer,
  9. A copy of the certificate of In-Serviceman duly issued by the Commanding Officer of the respective unit in which he is serving,
  10. Copy of the valid certificate of income issued by the authority empowered by the State Government on this behalf, if applicable,
  11. Photograph of a candidate for other State / other than Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary School Examination Board, and
  12. Such other certificates as the Admission Committee deems necessary.

Candidates need to verify all these documents at the helpline centers. During the time of counseling, candidates can choose their preference for colleges. The final allotment of seats will be based on the merit of candidates, availability of seats, and category. Candidates who have obtained high scores in GUJCET 2022 entrance examination will have higher chances of getting admission to their preferred college. 

GUJCET 2022 Counselling Form

In order to participate in the counseling of GUJCET applicants are required to submit the completed application form. Personal information, academic information, contact details, etc. are needed in the application form. Then enter a roll number and create a password, and keep it secure until the therapy process is completed successfully. Read the declaration, then, and acknowledge it. Click the "Submit" button to submit your application form.

Then submit the application form at GUJCET Help Centre.

After completing the online application procedure, reach the GUJCET Help Centre along with a copy of filled in the application form and the required documents (Original & Photocopy). The authorities there will verify all the documents and then after document verification candidates will get a registration slip with signature and seal.

GUJCET 2022 Choice Filling and Choice Locking

Fill your admission choice course and college by logging in to your account. User ID, password, and 14-digit PIN are needed for the account login. Candidates will be able to add, delete, swap, and move their choices.

After completion of the GUJCET choice filling process, candidates will go for the choice locking. Check all the filled choices and then enter the 14 digit PIN to submit the choices of course and college preference. Click on the “Unlock choices” in order to make any changes in the locked choices.


GUJCET 2022 Seat Allotment

The Admission Committee for Professional Courses will release GUJCET 2022 Seat Allotment Result on their official website. Candidates can log in to the official website using their credentials to know about the course and the college allocated to them for admission. If the candidate wants to accept the seat, he/she must freeze the seat. After the seat freezes, download the bank challan and pay the school tax. To pay the charge online, use Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card. If a candidate wants to go for the subsequent round of counseling then he/she can apply for it at the same time. 

After making fee payments, candidates can download the admission slip. Report to the allotted college on the given date and time. Carry all the required documents such as admission slip, payment receipt/challan, information letter, etc.

GUJCET 2022 Merit List

  • The first GUJCET 2022 merit list includes candidates who have passed the qualifying test by approved boards and for whom the percentile is accessible. The merit list was prepared with a 60 % weighting of the percentile marks obtained in PCM, paired with a 40 % weighting of the percentile marks obtained in the GUJCET exam.
  • The second GUJCET merit list 2022 was drawn up including candidates who have passed the qualifying test by a board for which the percentile marks are not valid. The merits shall be defined on the basis of the 60 % weighting of the marks obtained in the PCM after covering it up to 100 combined with the 40 % weighting of the percentile marks obtained in the GUJCET 2022 exam.

GUJCET 2022 Tie-Breaking Rules

The criteria for deciding the GUJCET 2022 merit list in case of the candidates having equal scores will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying in the following sequences, namely:
