IISER 2023 Result (July 3), Scorecard, Seat Allotment, Counselling, Cut Off

IISER 2023 result is going to be released on July 3, 2023. Candidates can check the result on the official website- iiseradmission.com by entering the roll number and password. The scorecard consists details such as the candidate’s name, date of birth, registration number, roll number, date of birth, qualifying status, and the total marks obtained.

IISER organizes a national-level exam i.e. IISER SCB Aptitude Test for admission to a 5-year dual degree course of BS-MS. Admission to this course is done through three channels, SCB, KVPY, and JEE Advanced entrance exams. Candidates who were not shortlisted in the initial list released by IISER may still have a chance of getting a seat in the subsequent counseling rounds.

IISER Counselling Process 2023

IISER 2023 Counselling Process includes the following steps

  • Filing the application form: Applicants whose names appear in the merit list of the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) will have to fill out the application form in order to be eligible to participate in the IISER Aptitude Test Counseling 2023. If any of the candidates apply through different channels, they will have to fill out a separate application form for each of them.
  • Choice Filling & Locking: Fill and lock the choices according to the preference of the colleges and programs. On the basis of the choices made, the seat allocation will be made.
  • Seat Allotment: Process for the allocation of seats On the basis of the availability of seats, the merits and preferences entered, candidates, will be allocated seats.
  • Seat Allocation Fee Payment: Candidates will have to pay fees through Net Banking or e-Challan to confirm their seat.
  • Document Verification: Subsequently, applicants will have to go through the process of document verification at the Help Centres.
  • Reporting at the Counseling Venue: The candidates are required to be present at the counselling site where they will be allocated seats according to their rank and availability of the seat at the institute.

IISER Counselling 2023: Documents Required 

The important documents that one needs to carry for IISER Counselling 2023 are as follows:

  • JEE Advanced/ KVPY/ IISER Admit Card
  • Passing Certificate and Marksheet obtained in Class 10
  • Passing Certificate and Marksheet obtained in Class 12
  • Counselling Letter (Photocopy + Original)
  • Recent passport size colored photograph
  • Caste Certificate (if available0

Seat Allotment: Based on the choices filled by the students, the merit list, and the seat availability, the admission authority will allot the seats to the eligible candidates.

IISER Seat Allotment 2023

IISER Seat Allotment intakes candidates from three channels, namely, KVPY, SCB, and JE Advanced. Read the seat allotment procedure for all three channels:

SCB Channel

For SCB First Round Allotment:-

Students mentioned in this allotment list have been allotted seats based on their merit in SCB. 

Candidates are advised to log in to the application portal to download their offer letter.

As mentioned in the offer letter, the candidates have to pay the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) through the link given in the application portal.

Note:- The offer of admission is subject to the verification of information provided in the application form at the time of registration.

JEE Advanced Channel

For JEE First Round Allotment:-

Students mentioned in this allotment list have been allotted seats based on their merit in JEE Advanced. 

Candidates are advised to log in to the application portal to download their offer letter.

As mentioned in the offer letter, the candidates have to pay the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) through the link given in the application portal.

KVPY Channel

For KVPY First Round Allotment:

Students mentioned in the First Allotment List released on October 1 had been allotted seats based on their merit in KVPY. 

Candidates are advised to log in to the application portal to download their offer letter.

As mentioned in the offer letter, the candidates had to pay the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) through the link given in the application portal.

For KVPY Second Round Allotment:

Students mentioned in the Second Allotment List which will be released on November 1 will be allotted seats based on their merit in KVPY. 

Candidates are advised to log in to the application portal to download their offer letter.

The last date to pay SAF has not be declared yet. Once declared, it will be updated here. 

IISER Seat Allotment Fees (SAF) 2023

Payment of Fees: Candidates who will be allotted a seat in any of the IISERs need to pay the requisite amount of acceptance fees irrespective of the option they exercise. The IISER Seat Allotment Fees (SAF) 2023 is –

  • INR 35,000 (Rs.25,000/- + Rs. 10,000 (Nonrefundable administrative fee)) for General Category Candidates
  • Rs.17,500/- (Rs.12,500/- + Rs. 5000/- (Nonrefundable administrative fee)) for Reserved Category candidates (SC/ST)

IISER 2023 Results

IISER 2023 Results will be declared in online mode. Candidates can register for allotment of seats, after the result declaration. The seat will be allotted on the basis of merit secured in the exam.

  • The result will be different for all the categories which are through KYPY, JEE Advanced and SCB Channel.
  • Candidates shall be offered admissions to the college as per the rank obtained by them in the entrance exam or the other way round. 
  • The merit list will be released by Joint Action Committee. Qualified candidates have to complete some formalities which include the Seat Acceptance Fee and other related options at the time of admission.
  • If the candidate has paid the SAF, he/she can avail the Float facility which can be used for admissions to any other IISER, if the candidate has taken admission in one of the IISER.

IISER 2023 Merit List

  • The merit list for IISER Admissions 2023 is prepared on the basis of total number of seats which are available through the SCB, KVPY channel and JEE 2023.
  • Candidates will be allotted seats based on their name in the IISER merit list 2023.
  • The applicant’s name will figure on the IISER’s merit list depending on the choice of programme and institute filled by the candidate.
  • Candidates will have the option to apply through different channels, but they will have to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria laid down by IISER 2023.

IISER 2023 Cutoff

The allotment of seats will be based on the merit list, availability of seats & candidate preferences. Candidates who applying through State and Central Boards channel, will require to appear and passed IISER Aptitude Test 2023.
