JEE Advanced Syllabus 2022 will be released by IIT Bombay along with the notification in May 2022 on the official website- jeeadv.ac.in. No announcements have been made regarding the change in JEE Advanced Syllabus 2022 and it is expected to remain the same However, IIT has released the revised JEE Advanced 2023 Syllabus.   • JEE Advanced Syllabus 2022 is based on topics taught in Class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 
  • Authorities usually release a revised JEE Advanced Exam Pattern every year. However, there is a change in the weightage of topics every year in all the three sections- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 
  • JEE Advanced Syllabus is not the same as JEE Main Syllabus. JEE Advanced Question Paper consists of questions designed to test the comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of the candidates. Check Previous Year JEE Advanced Question Papers
  • JEE Advanced is held as a computer-based test. The exam is conducted in two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2 and the candidates are required to clear both the papers.

AAT Syllabus

JEE Advanced Syllabus 2022: AAT

Candidates who want to join B. Arch. (Architecture) program at IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee will have to pass the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT). Only those candidates who qualify JEE Advanced are eligible to appear in AAT. The exam will be conducted in June 2022.

Given below is the detailed syllabus for JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) which covers topics like Geometrical Drawing, Freehand Writing and Architectural Awareness.

Chapter Topics
Geometrical Drawing Exercises in geometrical drawing containing lines, angles, triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, circles, etc. Study of plan (top view), elevation (front or side views) of simple solid objects like prisms, cones, cylinders, cubes, splayed surface holders, etc.
Three Dimensional Perception Understanding and appreciation of three-dimensional forms with building elements, colour, volume and orientation. Visualization through structuring objects in memory.
Imagination and Aesthetic sensitivity Composition exercise with given elements. Context mapping. Creativity checks through innovative uncommon tests with familiar objects. Sense of colour grouping or application.
Architectural Awareness General interest and awareness of famous architectural creations – both national and international, places and personalities (architects, designers, etc.) in the related domain.
Freehand Writing This would comprise a simple drawing depicting the total object in its right form and proportion, surface texture, relative location and details of its component parts in appropriate scale. Common domestic or day-to-day life usable objects like furniture, equipment, etc., from memory.

  • Inorganic Chemistry: Entire H chapter, F Block elements
