August 19, 2021: JEE Main Admit Card for Phase 4 Expected this Week
JEE Main 2021 Admit Card for Phase – IV is expected to be released during the 3rd week of August considering JEE Main Phase IV is scheduled from August 26 – September 2, 2021. August 1, 2021: JEE Main 2021 Phase 3 Result Expected Soon
JEE Main Answer Key for Phase 3 have been released on July 29. JEE Main Result 2021 for Phase 3 is expected to be released within a week. JEE Main 2021 Phase 4 dates have also been revised. The exam earlier scheduled to be held from July 27 to August 2 is now scheduled to be held on August 26, 27, 31 and September 1 and 2.
July 6, 2021: JEE Main 2021 Phase 3 and 4 Exam Dates Released
JEE Main 2021 Exam Dates for Phase 3 and 4 have been announced by Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’. December 17, 2020: Last Day to Apply for JEE Main 2021 First Session Declared
NTA has declared that January 16, 2021 will be the last date till which candidates will be allowed to register for JEE Main 2021 February session. This gives aspirants an entire month from the date of opening of registrations in order to get their formalities completed.
December 16, 2020: JEE Main Dates Released, Official Brochure Released
JEE Main is set to be held in February, March, April and May. Candidates may choose any of the following months as per their preference. JEE Main will also have a new exam pattern. The candidates have to attempt 75 questions out of 90 – or 25 out of questions 30 in each section of chemistry, physics and mathematics.
December 15, 2020: NTA Takes Down JEE Main Information Bulletin
In a recent update from the NTA this evening, the registration announcement for JEE Main 2021 and information bulletin has been taken down from the agency’s official website. The National Testing Agency (NTA) had previously announced the exam schedule for JEE Main 2021 as well as the brochure for the exam on its official website earlier on December 15. This was however followed by the removal of both the announcements from the website at 7:00 pm in the evening.
December 15, 2020: JEE Main 2021 Registrations Scheduled to Start, Exam to be Held Four Times
The application window is scheduled to open soon. As per the information brochure, candidates can register for JEE Main 2021 before the last date, i.e., January 15, 2021. This year, the JEE Main 2021 will be conducted four times. The first session of the JEE exam will be conducted from February 22, 2021, to February 25, 2021, followed by the next three Sessions in the month of March, April, and May 2021. The decision was taken to ensure that the JEE (Main) 2021 exam does not clash with the Board examinations, which may be conducted at varied times across the States/UTs
December 15, 2020: IIT JEE Candidates to be Trained Through Digital Medium
The government of Tamil Nadu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NextGen Private Limited to provide training to IIT JEE candidates through a digital platform on December 15, 2020. A Government official stated that as per the MoU signed with NextGen Private Limited, candidates from Government and Aided schools of Tamil Nadu will be groomed virtually for free of cost. The virtual training is scheduled to commence from January 4, 2021, and candidates interested could register themselves from December 21 to 31, 2020.
December 14, 2020: JEE Main 2021 to be Conducted in Regional Languages
In a recent announcement, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, The Education Minister of India has declared that JEE Main 2021 will be held in regional languages. He expressed that this decision was taken so that no student would be at a disadvantage due to a language barrier. The question paper of JEE Main 2021 will now be available in 13 languages. Exams in Urdu, English, and Hindi will be held across the nation, while exams for other regional languages will be limited to the state. Previously JEE Main was only conducted in Hindi, English, and Gujarati.
November 26, 2020: Change in NTA Exam Syllabus Hinted by Education Ministry
National Testing Agency has been directed to form a new syllabus for exams, including JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021, on the basis of board exam syllabi. The major decisions were taken after Ramesh Pokhriyal conducted a review meeting to test the performance of the Education Ministry's schemes and programs.
