JEE Main Notification 2023: Changes Introduced
Along with the JEE Main Notification PDF, NTA is going to announce the changes in JEE Main exam this year.
- No new changes are expected to JEE Main Syllabus this year. The syllabus is going to be based on topics from NCERT Class 11th and 12th for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- The number of questions and sections are also expected to remain unchanged. Candidates will be provided internal choice in Section B of JEE Main Question Paper. Candidates need to answer any five questions from each subject.
- Last year, NTA had made changes to JEE Main Marking Scheme. Now, both MCQs and numerical-based questions in JEE Main have a negative marking. 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer in JEE Main.
- Number of exam centres in JEE Main had also increased last year. JEE Main was conducted in 501 cities in India and 25 cities abroad. A similar pattern can be expected this year as well.
