JEECE 2023 will be conducted in the last week of June 2023 (tentative), in offline mode for 3 hours. JEECE Application Form 2023 is expected to be available from April 2023 on the official website. As per JEECE 2023 Eligibility Criteria, only local or permanent residents of Jharkhand are eligible to apply for the exam. The application process includes filling out the personal details, uploading the required documents, and paying the application fee. The last date to fill out JEECE Application Form 2023 is tentatively the last week of May 2023. 

Successfully registered candidates will be able to download JEECE 2023 Admit Card tentatively on the 3rd week of June 2023. According to JEECE 2023 Exam Pattern, the exam will be conducted for 3 hours. JEECE Eligibility

JEECE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Since JEECE 2023 is administered and conducted towards the Engineering admission in the State of Jharkhand, there are some basic JEECE Eligibility Criteria that the candidates need to fulfill for getting admission into the participating institutions. They are as follows:

  • The candidate should originate from the state of Jharkhand or should be a native of Jharkhand.
  •  He/ she should be an Indian citizen.
  •  The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as a minimum and there is no restriction for the maximum age.
  •  He/ she should have qualified 10+2 exam or equivalent from any recognizable board in India with Mathematics as a subject.
  • The candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% of marks in their Diploma or B.Sc degree.
  •  The candidates should qualify for the medical examinations conducted by the JCECEB.

JEECE 2023 Application Form

JEECE 2023 Applications process consist of three stages as follows:

  • Registration and application form filling
    • Step 1: Visit the official site of JCECEB at https://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in/.
    • Step 2: Try to click after locating the “…Online Application Submission- JCECEB 2023”.
    • Step 3: In the drop-down list of the examinations, choose the ‘Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination – 2023 (B.Tech./B.E.)’
    • Step in 4: Fill in all the personal details like Name, DOB, Father’s and Mother’s Name, gender, Nativity, PwD, and other reservation details as found in the image below.
    • Step 5:Key in all the qualification and identity proof details along with your address.
    • Step 6: Create the password for your account to finish the registration.
  • Uploading documents: After verifying the account once the password is created, the next step will be to upload all the JEECE 2023 required documents. The required documents to be uploaded in scan format at the time of JEECE 202 application are:
    • Photograph (Mostly white background)
    • Blue Impression of the left thumb finger
    • A signature without block letters

  • Application fees payment: After finishing the first two steps of the JEECE 2023 application, you reach the final step of making the payment for the application. The JEECE 2023 payment procedure is as follows:
    • Step 1: Click on “Payment of Application Fee”.
    • Step 2: Choose your mode of payment among debit card/ credit card/ net banking in the payment gateway to pay INR 900 if you belong to the unreserved group and INR 450 if you belong to the reserved groups excluding the service charges levied by the bank.
    • Step 3: Key in the details of your payment mode after choosing the desired mode.
    • Step 4: Click on submit after completing the authentication process done by the bank.
    • Step 5: Once the payment has been made successfully via the payment gateway to the intended recipient, you will get the bank transaction ID which is to be noted for future needs.
    • Step 6: Download the receipt for the payment without fail.

Corrections in the application won’t be allowed usually but if it is going to be enabled in the future, it will be notified by JCECEB as and when required.

All the fees can be paid through Net Banking, Credit Card/Debit Card. The application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. The fee structure varies for the general and reserved category as indicated in the table below.

The candidates will get allocated to one of the six examination centers at Jharkhand for taking up the pen and paper-based test. This exam center allocation is primarily based on the two preferences given by the candidates before the JEECE application.   • JCECEB will release JEECE 2023 Admit Card before the entrance i.e., four days before JEECE 2023.

  • Details like the Name of the candidate, Photograph, Exam center name and location, Date of Birth, etc. will be available in all JEECE admit cards.
  • Always be sure to take the printout of the downloaded to admit card well before the JEECE exam conduction to avoid any last-minute tension.

When talking about JEECE 202 preparation tips, the following strategized steps will aid the candidates in cracking the exam:

Also, there is the provision of a tie-breaker option in case the JEECE score secured by 2 or more candidates is the same. The rules for prioritizing candidates in case of tie-breakers are as follows:

  • Candidates with higher marks in mathematics will be prioritized.
  • If the tie-breaker has not made the decision still, then the candidates with higher marks in physics will be prioritized.
  •  If still there is no result out of the tiebreaker, the older candidates will be prioritized over the younger ones.

JEECE 2023 Counselling

Based on the JEE Main, JEECE 2023 scores, and choice filling made by the candidates, the admission for B.Tech. courses for eligible candidates will take place through JEECE 2023 Counselling process as follows:

  •  There will be two rounds of counseling.
  •  In the first round, the candidates with the counseling call letter will attend the counseling at the scheduled time, date, and place.
  • The candidates have to undertake document verification after which the seat allotment proceeds.
  • The seat allotment will be done and an allotment letter will be issued.
  • The second will then start for the newer candidates and for those candidates who are not satisfied with their seat allotment on the first instance of counseling.
  • Finally, the candidates along with the seat allotment order report to the preferred institution to finalize the admission.

The seat allotments get decided in the two rounds of JEECE 2023 Counselling based on the score in JEE Main and JEECE 2023. The process of seat allotment is as follows:

  • Based on the choice filled by the candidates, and vacant seats in the institution at Jharkhand, the choices of the eligible candidates get fulfilled who have enough cutoff marks.
